First the mismanagement, then the vultures; Hawley is a grim-reaper brought in by boards to fire people en masse, Zynga brought him in to fire basically everyone.

Talent.  Most developers aren’t too keen on living in a small town in the Midwest, hell a lot of developers are keen to get far away from small towns.  The talent is in places like San Francisco or LA or Seattle, and you need that talent.  Beyond talent pool, it also makes collaboration easier since other companies

A lot of factors. For one, competition is more fierce than ever before. For another, most people that start a game company aren’t particular great with the business side of things; by the time someone with business chops gets involved its already too late. Lastly, good old-fashioned corruption. A popular trend in the

Except the money, the “15%” fictious number you cite is bullshit, for one, and for two, most companies could pay for it by cutting into profits. At one point, the tax structures in this country encouraged such investment in human capital.

A lot of grocery store workers are already unionized:

To be clear, they didn’t change anything in the game, the last patch was September 4th. Someone got some unlikely rolls (50%+ female generals) and whined about it online. Their response is entirely reasonable: we’re not going to remove content just because a vocal minority don’t want to see female generals, which

Well, the good news is that as a Civil War re-enactor in his off time, Andrew Luck is well acquainted with fighting a losing battle.

This man died playing a game for free to get an education and maybe a shot at the pros, but you know who should have died?  The NCAA.  #DeathToTheNCAA

Except you can.  Most games built upon chance have similar secondary marketplaces and third party websites.  Just look at the CS:GO loot box gambling fiasco to see a great/horrible example of that.  Right now I can go out and buy some players for the latest FIFA game.  Yes, technically those “break the EULA” of the

It’s pretty easy when you consider that loot boxes cost money. Let’s say that you’re playing a game where $10 gets you enough game currency, 1,000 currency, to buy 10 lootboxes, pretty simple math, $1= 100 currency = 1 lootbox. Let’s say that each lootbox has three items and is guaranteed to give you at least one

Well, arguably EA has been much more aggressive in pushing loot boxes than most publishers. The Kotaku crowd isn’t much for sports games so it kind of goes unnoticed but FIFA in particular is pretty egregious in pushing you towards spending ridiculous cash to get a great team in the multiplayer. They’re starting to

As I said, there’s limit on work too. That said, really in general Americans work too much.

This pretty much applies to anything except work since it provides much needed funds for you to eat and live and all that stuff(and even then, there’s a limit).  Solo time (not THAT solo time) for couples from time to time is healthy, but if you’re ignoring the person you supposedly love...something is wrong.

Or kill Trump, Pence and anybody who shares his views.  Revolutions on man, let’s kill ‘em all.  My grandpa was crippled fighting fascists, I’m down with putting some bullets in brains in his honor.

Money and great...basketballs?  I’d hit that harder than Matt Barnes hit his girlfriend.

To be fair though, it’s probably about more than the slapfight with Mourinho.  Woodward has been around since 2012 and in charge since 2013, a lot of Man U fans I’ve spoken to blame him for the “decline” since then, including hiring Moyes and Mourinho.  Now, if I point out that “hey 2nd last year wasn’t too bad” and

Because they have characters hold their guns higher. It’s the same thing they did for Halo.  The gun is actually held in a position that you would actually shoot from in real life.

Most contracts of this nature have either a buyout clause or an offset clause. In a buyout clause, the company is basically firing you and pays immediately for the inconvenience. In an offset clause, you are basically fired but keep getting paid as if you were working for the company...minus whatever you make from

So..weirdly enough I got back into Pokemon Go...for health reasons. My new project at work is more sedentary than my old one, but there are a bunch of gyms and pokestops nearby.  So for my breaks, I walk outside, break out the Pokemon Go and take a walk.  Helps me to keep active and healthy.

Eh....the problem isn’t quite a graphics problem so much as an efficiency problem. In multiplayer, you would have to have many separate renderings of the same scene in order for the viewpoint to be at the correct height. Every player, essentially, would need their own separate rendering, showing their eyes at the
