In the modern day, flight sticks and racing wheels are a lot more niche than Saitek’s heyday, I think. Years ago there were lots of flight simulator, star fighter, racing and other games that would use flight sticks or racing wheels. It has been years since I played a game that really could have benefited from either

Vaguely competent ones? To be honest, the only time I tend to go to a Subway is when my car is in the mechanic’s shop that I trust and I need to eat lunch, as it’s the only food in walking distance that isn’t overpriced, bar food or from a vending machine.

As weird as this sounds to some people, I’m going to defend Subway here. It’s a fast food sandwich and you paid somewhere between $5-7 for it and it took maybe 5 minutes to assemble. For what you paid and how long it took, that’s a decent deal. If you want a good sandwich from a chain shop, you’ll probably have to pay

I know a lot of developers are pointing out this invalidates their reviews from their biggest fans...but is that necessarily a bad thing for a review system? I don’t necessarily want to see feedback from people who were really pumped for the game before it came out...because either they’re still really pumped up, or

Maybe it’s just because they aren’t very good? I literally got to the last boss on Dragon Quest VIII, couldn’t quite beat him because I wasn’t high enough level and said “Eh, no, I’m good.” The story was dull and predictable, the battle system was way too simplistic and I didn’t give a damn about any of the

This sounds like a rather sensible and calm reaction, not so much “throwing cold water” on things, not any different from what Klinsmann said a week or so ago. If he’s earned it, you give him minutes, but you don’t necessarily expect amazing things from him. He can’t put a team on his back (at least not yet).

It looks like it’s walking stiffly and its eyes look irritated. It may be sick or injured. It also looks rather thin for a bear during this time of year, they should just about have their winter fat by now.

Hey uhh...crazy idea. Maybe we shouldn’t have people play a game in which this is okay? Or even a gray area? Maybe we should all play and watch a different game.

Google-fu is failing me to find some of the articles I read years before the ban, but this is a pretty good explanation of how these transfers can hurt young Europeans:

It’s because the NFL doesn’t want to pay them to be full time refs. Their main jobs often bring in more income (Ed Hochuli, for example, runs a law firm).

I work in IT, believe it when i say that anything that doesn’t directly bring money in is viewed by companies as a drag on profits. Salespeople where I work are paid very handsomely for selling things that people need anyway, but those of us that fix their computers so they can do their jobs? Nickel and dimed to near

Graceful Sphincter is now the name of my band.

Counterpoint: You’re an idiot, Billy. The whole reason these transfer rules came into play was exactly because clubs were signing people from other countries, then leaving them high and dry after realizing they weren’t as good as hoped. Do the rules make it harder for a player to train in another country? Yep. But

Keep in mind that a regular joke on roasts is how big someone’s vagina is or how small someone’s dick is. It’s not necessarily intended to be 100% about hitting on someone’s actual faults.

I was nearly beaten to death by a man eating Wheat Thins, now you’ve triggered my horrible memories of that event. You monster.

Wynalda is an insufferable prick coasting off of past glories, I don’t know how he keeps getting work.

I’d say MLS has raised the “floor” of USMNT players; our worst players are better than they ever were, it’s just that the topmost guys are still far ahead of everyone else. MLS is starting to invest in player development hard after the success of guys like Deandre Yedlin though, especially thanks to the big fees MLS
