I’m super disappointed that we’re not getting figures for the lion King, little mermaid, genie, goofy, artoo and threepio and old Ben kenobi. Such big pieces of my childhood that I really wanted to be part of my collection.
This. I’ve got all currently released amiibo, and some infinity that I find interesting. That in and on itself is already 110 figurines. I already have a space problem, and Nintendo hasn’t even started Zelda and Metroid lines, and there’s still a bunch of interesting Disney and star wars Characters not yet out.
“Microsoft announced today that Assassin’s Creed, Dark Void, and GRID 2 are now backwards compatible on Xbox One”
I know it sounds petty and I know that’s the way these words are being used, but wouldn’t it make more sense to say these games are “forward compatible with the XB One” or that “The XB One is backwards…
Why did I read "angry geeks in skirts" when skimming through that last paragraph?
the feels. T_T
I’ll post the same thing I did on a previous thread:
My solution to all rogue AI-related problems : put a switch on it. A physical switch. One it can’t move. And use that to turn it off if needed. It worked on HAL, it will work on the actual rogue AI.
Oh, yea. Out of these, I can clearly remember thinking I am Legend and that scene in Matrix Reloaded looked awful, even while watching them for the first time in the theater. Scorpion King is laughable, but I watched it for the first time in a TV rerun, so I wasn’t as surprised at the (lack of) quality.
Out of these, I would say buy and purchase have the same meaning. Can’t find a difference other than register, tho I could be wrong. The others, sure, they do have different possible connotations.
Here’s what I think might happen: Carol (or some other character, maybe even Glenn, but likely her) gets the Lucille treatment from Negan. AND... Maggie is either stabbed or bludgeoned in the stomach, making her sure to lose the baby. This makes sense for three reasons:
1 - It’s fucking sick and disgusting, and fits…
Oh, goodie! One more reason for me to go to Japan. By the time it’s built, I might even have the required funds, too!
yea, Robin Hood and Marian are cool, they just weren’t as important to my childhood as, say, Aladdin and Ducktales. I’d still love to see them, and might even get them, too.
Yea, that sounds good. I’ll get Vision and maybe Antman out of those.
Jar Jar Abrams was mildly amusing.
I dunno. Sure, the armor is generic, and the colora are boring. The fact that he’s holding a big ol’ boomstick contrasting with the super futuristic armor is the real meaningful part, tho. This is a guy that will use any instrument of violence to get back at the creatures that have busted his armor with their demonic…
Just chiming in to say it's the exact same idea I have. I like to think k then as indicators of the force, not its cause. As in, correlation is not causation, and all that.
You should call it tv;dw.
So, it's basically the little start this game you shake a wiimote at and that propel you around in Mario Galaxy?
Imo, Guardians of the Galaxy already comes damn close to being a starwarslike, and it was damn fun, to boot. Green Lantern and John Carter were also good opportunities, and it’s too bad they failed.
