I dunno, I think they learned a thing or two with the Halo series. I'm personally not a fan of Halo, but I know they had a good product. I'd say the expectations being high is reasonable.

Okay, I've never played Myth, but I laughed hard at this post. My laughter hurts now. ^^;

Well, that's just it, and you hit the nail right on the head with your analysis. People ARE too stupid to read the box, or even look at the pictures.

Yeah, I forsee the same problem. "3DS" as a name didn't really differentiate it much. (I mean, it's been re-iterated that it's not the main problem, but it certainly doesn't help!)

I've heard of it happening from reliable sources. So glad to hear you make accusations before looking into it yourself.

Nintendo is typically very good about warranties. I've seen them repair things under the warranty that they really shouldn't have. (Like I recall when I worked at Toys R Us, a moronic customer actually brought a DS Lite in that their kid stuck gum into the slot of...) it wouldn't read games, and for the life of me, I

I'd very much like to see F-Stop. Even moreso after seeing Old Aperture in Portal 2. To see it in it's prime would be even cooler. :3

Hm... I hope that isn't real... is it? At this point I'm not sure what to believe anymore. :/

I'd still have bought the Prototype version. I realize it was a shitty practice, but I really wanted the game. If it's release hinged on buying a demo, I would have been all in.

Yeah, Prototype Version was never released. They never got any money out of that.

Same here. I really, really liked Capcom, too. I love a lot of the games they've made over the years, I'd say a good portion of my collection is Capcom games. There have been things I let go as something isolated, like, the end of Breath of Fire, okay, that was fine, the series didn't really have anywhere to go, and

When it was first announced, they did not say it wasn't greenlit. In fact, if I recall, they said it WAS greenlit.

All I can say, Capcom, is you never get my money again.

The name made me think of Tail Concerto. The game itself made me think just a little of Eternal Sonata.

Honestly, despite my reservations, the demo made me interested in the story. But man, I couldn't stand the gameplay. I can't even consider paying full price for it, but being from Atlus, I either buy it now for full price, or later for double the full price. :/

Hm... well, in regards to that article, it's pretty clear Atlus didn't have any qualms about having more printed, although they've always been quite good at their PR notices. :P Based on what you said, though, it's pretty clear that if that were... say, Shiren the Wanderer, Atlus wouldn't have even tried to reprint

Hm... I'm sure the third parties have mentioned it to Nintendo before. But something tells me they need to push for the changes, because this clearly will hurt all around. But if Nintendo continues to push the third parties in this manner, then they'll end up back at square one, with no third parties.

Oh, totally typo'd first instead of third. ^^; I know how the system with that works. (A bit late to correct the typo, though.)

I think the baseless conjecture about Nintendo stuggling seems to be steeped in a certain gaming blog that everyone around here reads. It seems to follow a certain bias about 3DS articles there. >.>;

Well, the list of cancelled projects that Kotaku ran off the other day, as I tried to show up there, can be explained. In reality, I don't think that was that many cancelled games, especially since four of them are explained by the closure of Hudson Soft. (Which is a loss indeed, Hudson made or was involved with some
