Hi, perhaps you’ve heard of something called public transit? That’s how most people in large cities commute, you should check it out.

Except in SF you can have a street parking permit for $100/year. Most people are simply too lazy to deal with finding a spot.

Vanquish was on PS3.

I believe in the individual’s right to own a firearm. I also believe our current ability to access, purchase, and stockpile firearms and ammunition for the same is well beyond the realm of the reasonable, and needs to be reined in—hard.

Some Russkiebot is going to creep up here and actual take you seriously

All of this post is excellent, but my favorite part is:

I read that as “this better be going on my penis, is all I’m saying.” and it made perfect sense in context.

But that just puts us in the direct path of the bears....

So basically this Fox contributor saw a Kool Aid commercial and wondered whether he could help avoid talking about gun control.

Okay, two things:

1.) I am an educator. I’ve been teaching for just under fifteen years now, and the idea of arming educators for the sake of defending students is idiotic for a multitude of reasons, chief among them that training a person to react calmly under fire takes a hell of a lot longer than it does to earn

Jason, are you still invited to E3 or do they make you sit outside on the naughty step?

Yes. And a bit fussy. BB-8 has to manually clear a bunch of “red flag- won’t start the engine” alerts before taking off.

I’m kind of liking the idea that L3 is alive in the Falcon. Makes that scene in ESB when Han and Lea are looking for systems to go to and the “Lando system” pops up all the more meaningful. I’d like to think L3 is the one that brings the map up so she can go “home”.

Also, Enfys Nest taking off her helmet to reveal a teenage girl was one of the best moments in the film. More Enfys Nest!

I love the idea of spaceships having consciousness. It feels like, recently, a lot of Sci-Fi has been exploring the nature of A.I., robot rights, etc. but limiting the scope to androids that look just like humans. Except for Westworld, where it serves an explicit purpose, it feels a little unimaginative.

There’s a chapter in the Last Jedi novelization that has R2 arguing with the Falcon on how to search for the Resistance on Crait. It keeps with the theme of ships having personalities. BB-8 has a particularly funny chat with Poe’s X-wing.
So that book and the results of this movie seem to implicate that ship do have a
