Alternate Universe Sora. Verum Rex is a game within the Toy Story world that looks like a reworked FF13vs (aka, earlier version of FF15) and the trailer near the end has Sora saying a line about memories that the MC in Verum Rex then continues while walking to Sora.

A well written review, Heather. My only complaint is perhaps you could not spoil the ending as much as you did? I know we’re going to (potentially) fight Lan-di at the end but it would be better to keep that part as vague as possible and say it as “the ending is a little disappointing.”

What bothers me more is their lack of support for the single player modes after launch. It’s nice the multiplayer part gets updated but the single player modes suffers from a lack of content.

I’ve seen it in things like Street Fighter x Tekken where the “x” is pronounced as cross. The meaning is different but I can see it.

Nope, they covered exactly what needs to be covered. Partially why I have been frequenting sites like Gematsu and Siliconera. They deliver only the facts about the game and no social commentary. When I want to read about ethics in games I come here to Kotaku...which a couple years ago I could get both here. 

Were you starting a fresh new character or were you playing on TVHM/UVHM? If you feel like enemies take too long to die then maybe you aren't using a good weapon and try using a new one.

Gonna disagree with your edits. It was more than a “small but vocal” portion. It received a lot of criticism about how it looked. In fact, this first version we saw looked like Frankenstein’s monster. 

This needs to be directed to the “PC Master race” as those individuals are the ones perpetuating the ideal that their games be pretty, run above 60fps at all times.

Double XP really hit close to home. I felt like that after Spider-Man and Persona 5. It’s always sad and leaves me feeling empty when finishing a really good game.
