The PC version is also a horribly optimized piece of Java mess while the console versions are all tailored to the platform they are running on and they run well. It's too bad I can't have my mod-cake and eat it too though.

I'll give you one big reason I bought and play the XBLA version. Local, split-screen co-op. I play this game with my kids and we love playing on the couch together. I know there are a couple mods for split-screen on the PC but I have never found one that isn't janky as hell and the XBLA version works perfectly.

even if they are linked somewhat with prime, they can still do another game since these are far prequels way in the past. I had thought the only linkage though was because the novels were supposed to solidify the origin story. Make any series later on having continuity with it.
