Oh, trust me. I held my ground but had no fucks to give from my crop about what they had to say to me about myself. Plus, if I game with others I tend to want to be selective about who I’m with thus my preference for couch co-op games as well.

If they did that then I’m in. I love the characters but don’t care much for multiplayer battles. A co-op mode (couch and online!) would also be great!

See, last time I said something like this all the people started jumping on me for that opinion. Glad to see like-minded people here who see the potential in this game for a single-player campaign mode.

I get you. I’m not as bothered by this as I tend to favor singleplayer games anyway and thus my commitment to a PS5 is not hindered by that behavior. Still, cross-play is easy to do and the only reason I can think of as to why Sony isn’t playing nice is due to hackers and bots...even though Sony has that issue as well.

Well, Microsoft is open to it now along with Nintendo. This leaves Sony stuck in that rut now. Still, you raise a good point. I’m sure come later this year we won’t see any crossplay for Batlefield V or CoDBO4 and there will be a convenient silence there.

I love Sony, and they’ve made some major strides these past few years but their lack of participating in cross-play is a little troubling.
