But those light cycles can turn on a dime!
But those light cycles can turn on a dime!
As written, I definitely agree that it sounds like it escalated way too quickly, but to play devil’s advocate, maybe they just left out a lot of unnecessary dialog cuz these are supposed to be entertaining anecdotes and not a drawn out screenplay.
Why do so many submissions insist on hiding the identity of the restaurant they used to work at, especially when it can be deduced so easily? Are they worried that their former boss is gonna read this, get into a time machine, and fire their younger selves?
I had a friend who had a destination wedding on a MONDAY of a regular week! MONSTERS!
Yeah. No one ever looks right. I try to remember to do so when driving, including checking the mirrors in case of a cyclist coming around my side. Even being aware of this issue, I’ll admit to forgetting sometimes. Better off to just play it safe as a runner or cyclist and assume no one is looking out for you.
I always run behind the car cuz barely any car actually stops where they’re supposed to and assumes that stopping right on top of the crosswalk is acceptable, so I don’t really have a choice where to cross.
People who walk slowly in large groups are monsters.
I can’t stop watching this Vine. It’s hypnotic.
This comment is getting recommended at close to 6 stars per minute in the middle of a Monday afternoon. The Deadspin readership is one impressively large and unproductive work force!
Damn... I’m not sad cuz I have to create a new character and develop it. I’m sad cuz I’m not gonna have human contact beyond the guy at the bodega who sells me Cheez-Its and Iced Tea while I get re-absorbed into this game.
Some 27-year old kid on my beer league softball team has a Tesla. Not sure what model, but all I know is that he’s making enough money to afford one of these and has enough time to still get drunk on a Sunday and hang out with friends. He gave me and two girls a ride home one evening and you could tell how much the…
Do these DLC’s require you to use your old characters from the primary game or do you create a new one? I’m asking cuz my computer shit a brick awhile back and I lost my old character and I’d have to to start from scratch.
Yeah, professional football player is still a job, so why not train them like it’s a job instead of tip-toeing around what is and isn’t? I like this idea. I also think you should be allowed to go straight to the NFL if you’re good enough instead of the NCAA and NFL being in cahoots to make billions off of unpaid…
And when they do fuck with those rights, we use these tools that are also in there, such as voting out corrupt officials, using the judicial process to invalidate those laws, etc. When the government shuts down your newspaper, you sue the state, you don’t shoot the governor in the face.
I understand that what you’re saying in that the 3/5th Compromise was exactly that: a compromise about power in the House and a way to appease both sides of the slavery issue. However, if you are saying one sub-population only can account for 3/5 of the representation of another sub-population, you are in effect…
I was coming here to say the same thing. The step back was the worst part. I get that the trap put the ball a little too close to get a decent kick off, but he could have easily tapped it a step forward to put it in a good spot.
Yeah, he’s crazy fast, but when he’s really pushed, he somehow is even faster. It’d be amazing if he was pushed all the way to the line while he was in top shape and in a big meet. Just look at the ground he made up after stumbling out of the blocks in the 100m prelims. His top speed is insane. I still can’t imagine…
Haha, the end of the game made no sense to me either. When I beat it, I said to one of my friends “I think I just beat Final Fantasy XIII and I still have no idea what it is going on...”
Agreed. For any old JRPG, it’d be considered a great game and actually, many people still do (I think it got a perfect score from Famitsu somehow). However, exactly like you say, FF games are going to be held to a different standard.
I think if they had allowed you to utilize the full battle system instead of walling…
Even though Gran Pulse opened it up a great deal, pretty much the only sidequests the game provided was the hunts and Chocobos. That’s cool and all, but it’s nothing compared to what so many of the other games in the FF series offered.
