For a little while until the twins’ behavior became really frightening. Like, abusing her animals and being very physically violent. Which is so incredibly sad, what chance did those kids have with two drug-addict parents? I hope they are in a safe and happy home now with intensive therapy, I really do.

But... taking it off, wasn’t that incredibly painful and/or possibly harmful? I have a hard time with band-aids, I can’t imagine trying to remove duct tape.

Ohhh, The Hours. I need to dig up my DVD and see it again. One of the few movies in my life where I had to sit in the theater for a long time afterwards to process and compose myself. And I’d read the book so I already knew what was coming, they just did such an amazing job bringing it to the screen, it gutted me.
