Proud, really? This whole things has just reminded me that the gaming community as a whole is one of the most selfish and vitriolic communities on the web. Ask them to pay for content and they resort to harassment and death threats.

I really like the Penny Arcade article about talking to other parents about video games. Some of them have no clue through no fault of their own, and educating parents about that kind of stuff can only help grow little gamers into less annoying ones once they finally put that headset on.

I can’t find my original post but he flat out admits he did this for views on a slow news day and knew this was going to happen:

OK, so why is this suddenly such a big thing?

You must have attended a different GDC than the one I saw, Mr. Nathan, for all I saw before me was the desiccated corpse of the once Safe Male Space known as Gaming.

I think the point here is this:

Yeah, it's hilarious. This entire scheme is the GOP's free-market alternative to the socialized medicine the Dems were pushing in the 90's-

It has a lot of issues, but it IS pretty nice having insurnace for the first time in 10 years.

Most of what I hear of this argument is based upon what straight men think is sexy to people who are attracted to men, and I have never heard this brought up in a context outside of discussion on the objectification of female characters in video games,

I hope for your sake she doesn't....

Hmmm... I don't know where to stand on this one... I'm a graphic designer (not an illustrator, mind you), and I can appreciate the balance of the original image. It's a very good image, and while that IS a full moon in the background, the clouds are cleverly placed to hide part of it so that what remains echoes the

It's rather depressing that the PaD formula for free-to-play is catching on so well. It makes a ton of money if you get the "whales" (a whole other can of worms I'm not opening here, but just know I hate that term dearly) to buy into it, but it's such an awful cash-grab that it really hurts to see those techniques

Or a Sephiroth cosplayer, they'd still be pulling the sword out if him this time next month.
