My favourite Haagan Dazs flavour bar none is the Creme Brulee. Unfortunately, I can NEVER get it fresh! For some reason, I can only ever find it in the deep freeze section, meaning that I have to get a pint, when all I really want is a scoop.

Old ladies ahoy!

Here's the funny thing - it's basically just the same thing as a TAC in Marvel vs Capcom 3 - a three way guess, and if you guess wrong you get reset and your combo ends. Yet people don't seem to dislike TACs as much. Why?

This is true on some levels and not true on others.

Thing is, there aren't that many studios who can do fighting games well. I'm especially worried about DLC characters (this is a F2P game, you know it was coming). How will a new studio balance the old against the new? Or will they just go the cashgrab route and make the old characters obsolete?

I've heard it described as "getting excited over exclaimation marks".

If KI bombs or fails to get updated, there won't be anything left in the brand for it to be "restarted". I personally think that KI was a long shot anyway, it wasn't THAT popular in the past, and fighters aren't catching the attention of the new generation...

Really? Just after releasing an Xbone exclusive fighter, the only fighter on Xbone yet?

I guess I do agree about football. But I disagree about Chess openings, which is the closest thing to a "build order". Yes, you have chess openings, but responding and punishing deviations from the opening is the important skill, not simply knowing the opening.

At the basic level, though, the person who can execute the build order properly will have a massive advantage over the one who can't. Below pro level (99% of the playing population), execution and getting lots of "stuff" out will win you the game.

Ghost Trick, The World Ends With You, those were all premium priced games on iOS. I wonder how they did?

This takes balls though. Ghost Trick, The World Ends With You, those were all premium priced games on iOS. I wonder how they did?

That was a magnificent read. It's interesting that the people who worked on Street Fighter 2 went on to found hit companies after that - Akira, Platinum, DIMPS... It really shows the amount of talent that went into this game, and it's longevity demonstrates that.

Incredibly poignant. Octodad works on so many levels because of our fear of being outed as a fraud or impostor, but I never thought of those for whom physical (or for that matter, mental!) but hidden disability means that you really ARE "faking it" all the time.

Isn't Robocop's ultimate nemesis... the Bean Counter?

Everything I've read says that it's going to be a flop, and the fact that it's releasing in the first quarter (traditionally the "trash" month) doesn't help matters...

I can only imagine it has to be crazy warm in there.

So calling it "Sackie" would have alienated the precious boys then?

One octodad and no octomoms is a data point.
