Why do the comments on this article read like a million entitled, white, teenage boys who have never been disadvantaged or discriminated against whining?

Her nephew has the rest of the male-centric world to get role models from.

This is bullpucky. Making a game that has wide distribution has very little to do with making the game and a lot to do with getting funding and distribution. And all the funding and distribution goes to male-centric games.

Because her nephew already has the rest of the paternalistic world to get good role models from.

They already made that game, it's called Queens' Blade. They even one upped you, you have to pay money to take the playable females' clothes off.

Wow, really? I didn't expect gamefly to be so nice about it, I would have thought that they would have suspected you as the thief.

Why not? Nintendo has been the king of seeing the limitations and benefits of hardware (see all their consoles, ever) and tailoring their games accordingly.

The Lego franchise really knows how to do games right! I'm actually amazed at...wait, it's going to be a crappy generic top down shooter...?

Yeah, I know, but I'd really like for them to bring the sequels over.

Using third party studios might be a good thing, third party/licenced titles suck usually because the developer doesn't care. But Miyamoto will definitely keep an eagle's eye on Mario and whatever other IP they licence out, and that might make it a tighter game overall. It actually seems that Nintendo works really

WHY IS THERE NO SEQUEL TO EBA?!?!

Nice. UI improvements are always welcome.

There are limits, though. Doodling is fine, tabletop is fine, but if you're not giving each other the respect and attention that a partner deserves, then the aggrieved partner may have a point.

Do you believe in magic?

Then you don't understand Europe. Europe has been ruled by the aristocracy for longer than Japan has existed as a nation. The existence of the aristocracy and religion, and then industrialization and the war shaped Europe. Europe is the story of aristocracy, not of farmers.

Do you know what bushido is?

Speak for yourself. I was there to supervise a legal issue once, and advised my Japanese clients not to exchange name cards (mainly so that any legal issues would be directed to the firm, and not my client). My client was actually unhappy about my telling my clients not to identify themselves, and his exact words were

Oh, I totally agree that there's no practical benefit, but I was taking more issue with the "doesn't inspire confidence" bit. In that culture, it does inspire confidence.

Well, if you understand that, then you should know that that action really does "inspire confidence" instead of the opposite. People see it as evidence that the management is taking control and facing the issue, rather than pretending it doesn't exist, which is what happens if the management doesn't want to deal with
