I had a 2011 135i 6-spd for 6 months, it was a great all around car, actually miss it a bit.

Amen. I have a 997, owned many BMW’s, driven a plethora of exotics and I LOVE the GT350R. One of the few new cars I want.

Nearly everyday on Wilshire Blvd. running between DTLA and Santa Monica there are test mules in camo, I presume doing some type of fuel economy testing or city driving tuning. Did that commute for a few years and saw hundreds of cars undergoing testing. A lot of them would have their windows down, even on a cool

They were based off the Ranger pickup which was a decently reliable and simple vehicle, the 3.0 V6 and 4.0 V6 while no technical marvels were known to be pretty solid as far as I remember. Maybe the auto trans was the weak point?

Lack of understanding how much it costs to fulfill on these type of projects and try to turn a decent profit at the same time. A lot of these companies are not raking in the profits by any means, the turn around time on a Singer is nearly a year to build. He/she needs to either realize they may not understand the

Yea, I think this one is outside your realm of knowledge of the aftermarket car world and cost associated with bespoke cars like this. Go price custom cars from SpeedKore, Ring Brothers, Icon 4x4. I know people that work at all said companies including Singer, once again this isn’t a company like Porsche pumping out

Once you experience it...the modern GT3 seems so ordinary in comparison, and I do very much like the GT3. Same concept as why buy an Aston Martin when I can have a Camaro ZL1 that will out perform it in every manner. Would pay every cent for that Singer, plus they are a small company with nowhere near the economies of

I was fortunate to take one of these to my prom back in 2004 as my g/f’s Dad had one. Probably climaxed in life at that point haha.

That used to be stored at my buddy’s place (www.autotopiala.com), hearing that thing start up and run was always an experience to say the least.

They are busy making money, not commenting on Jalopnik...

Someone on that movie knows what they are doing to specifically pick a 330i ZHP 6-speed sedan, not a ton of those around. Already gets my watch for picking a great ride.

What would you prefer to be in out of curiosity? Explorer, Charger...?

Was helping a friend buy a car recently, Hyundai was still pretty terrible from the 3 dealers I encountered in LA. One place while proactive was quoting some insanely high interest rate like 7-8%, $900 paint protection...and were just shady overall. Another was professional but asked 5+ times via phone for some

Appreciate the insight!

Appreciate it!

Thanks for the feedback, I like educational sales and relationship building, did software and now digital marketing. I have learned that the best salespeople are the ones who don’t come across at all “salesy”...a genuine interest in helping people and obviously that last important part of being comfortable in closing.

Curious to hear more about this, I have a background in software/digital marketing sales so I like educational sales and crush it but I am guessing if you are selling $30M a year...that has to be some seriously good commission?

Have you seen people enter investment banking from other industries even at an older age? 31 here, successful salesperson in digital marketing but have always had an interest in finance...even though I have rudimentary knowledge. And I am in LA not NYC.

Same, front bumpers get destroyed in the city. On my second 997, gave up caring about all the scratches on the bottom. At least walking up to it I can’t really notice.

E60's and E65's less than stellar reliability was certainly enough to convince someone to move to the newer model.
