I almost had a heart attack when I read that headline. That said it is nice to see that the car was actually being used and not collecting dust in some rich guy's/girl's basement.
@louwheeze: You better run for cover and start thinking about getting a new identity. ;)
I hope this is a joke, I sincerely do! The last 30 years governments and NGOs have worked hard to manage and limit the amount of chemicals used in our everyday life.
Very nice indeed.
@muhnkee_2 - Avantime Owner and 100% Jaloper: Will an Espace with a 3.5L V10 F1-engine do?
@Fordboy357: Very good choice indeed. Brings back memories of this: Ford Transit WRC
@ODD DOOD: Renault is way ahead of you. I present to you: The Renault Espace F1, featuring a a carbon-fibre chassis and a 3.5L V10 engine (similar to the one in the Williams FW15)
@essper: I talked to the driver of this, Christoffer Nygaard, not too long ago at a track. Nice guy.
@spitfire74: Exactly, no more explanation needed.
@Roberto G.: I don't have a problem with that. They just need to remember that bikes are small enough to share regular parking spaces with other bikes. There are not an infinite amount of parking spaces in cities.
@sinyster: This spider is jealous, very jealous!
@06Limer: Exactly. I have seen some video footage of the accident: I wish I hadn't. I'm not squirmish, but I felt sick after seeing it.
@pdubs1087: I had completely forgotten about that crash. A tragedy on so many levels. Purley's actions is a true act of heroism, however I think the creator of this video is wrong to blame the crowd for not doing something. You do not want people who do not know what they are doing running across a racetrack, they…
@grzydj: Yes, I believe you do. Nice spotted. I didn't see it myself. I love those Unimogs: Practical AND badass(!)
@evoCS-Hench-Minion to the stars: Yes, I believe he was. The g-forces experienced in an impact like that is just insane, and everything gets transferred onto the soft, squishy meat-bits inside. Very painful.
The most infamous for me has to be Senna's crash and subsequent death. I was six, and it was the first time I remember my dad crying. I don't remember the crash, just my dad crying.
@Novaload: There are few American cars I truly love, but the looks of the Superbird is makes it so fantastic, simply on account of being utterly, and deliciously, ridiculous. Aerodynamics truly were terra incognito back then
@macshome: He is tough, no doubt about it, but I don't like him. I can't really figure out why. I think your comparison to Prost-Senna is pretty acurate in the sense that Vettel is all-out all the time, it is either a win or in the barriers. Webber is a points-collector just like Prost was (Altough no where near as…
@Maxichamp: What just happened? My ears hurt now, very much.
