Dear Santa.

Way too often, i must admit. But this makes me feel a bit better, as i always figured that i was just ashamed of being naturally better at some things and that there was nothing to do about it.

We're many who're like this, so don't worry, you're no alone. ^_^

You should probably have read up on Wolverine before writing this, because while X-Men Origins: Wolverine did suck and did cause more confusion than clarification, it echo's his origin story perfectly.

And a spin-off prequel featuring a mysterious female relative debunking lay-lines and other form of pseudoscience, called Misses Lie: Lay Lie(nes).
Which is then followed by her debunking the dangers of flying over the Bermuda Triangle in the 70's, called Misses Lie: Fly Lies.

I'm not an American, so i can tell you firsthand that what you're describing in term of a government that you don't think is realistic, that's pretty much the norm here in Europe.

Greeting from Copenhagen, my fellow countryman. ^_^

Who pissed in you coffee this morning!? Wow, that a lot of misplaced anger.

That must be one of the most unfortunate surnames for an accidental data-whisperer.

You and i have vastly different definitions of "utopian pipedream". In my book it means anything past the point were magic would need to be invented to make it happen.

Wait, he hasn't read a single comic since Watchmen? Who the hell proof-reads his work then or check if the finished product is okay?

Did you know that an estimated $71 billion is lost in tax revenue every year, thanks to religions being tax exempted. So if the US taxed religious organizations and gave that money to NASA, they would have enough money to send 1 Curiosity Rover every 13th day for a year.

Aren't we just making the assumption here that Buddhism could have no philosophical or stylistic forefathers.

What confused you?

One could say that about almost any era or span of time, as humans have always kept a developmental pace relevant to the population of the planet.
Plus, these are events close to the dawn of recorded history, but there are some 30,000 years of culture preceeding it that we have very little idea of, making a declaration

No, it's exactly the opposite. The child just learns that when he/she wants something, then a trigger phrase is the only way to stop, which is the opposite of self-control.

I actually didn't see the episode before i saw the title of this article and my reaction was "fuck yeah, my fan theory was right".

I would stand and clap for Belgium decision to allow the full aspect of human rights, but i suspect my neighbors might be a bit annoyed at someone clapping in the middle of the night.

I'm not a parent either, but as the oldest of my generation in my family i have 2 younger brothers (22 and 23) and 8 cousins (raging 2 to 17), all of which i have been around for most of their upbringing, as my family all live within 10 minutes of me. And among my friends, there are 4 children.

This just seems unnecessarily condescending and more likely dog training than child rearing.
