Those 2 subjects are completely separate and have nothing to do with each other beyond the fact that they're both tragedies.

But if it's small enough to fit in a hand, it's not that extreme to think a bluetooth headset might be made for it.

He fooled both of you. That there is a 1:1 scale portrait cutout of him.

That ending is by far the best twist in modern cinema. It was the one and only time i felt sad that the good guy survived, and hoped he would die horribly fast before the credits were over.

My origin story sounds more like that of a villain, I'm afraid.

I don't...

But even current technology is small enough to hide and we already know that if were to travel in time we should probably strive to hide said time travel. So why would they plaster it to their faces?

Not only would it require immense energy, but according to the only theory ever to fully construct a method of backwards time travel, it would require a gravity well made by manipulating 2 supermassive black holes (the one's that sit in the center of galaxies) to spin on their own axis, while orbiting the "time

What disturbs me about this "evidence" is that despite the fact that we live centuries after its invention, most (not counting io9'ers) fail to use Occam's Razor.

I don't know if it's strictly defined as false nostalgia, but i do long for a world were technology is better than now, were science has solved so many problems that death, disease or physical appearance are conscious choices and were people look to logic and reason for solutions to everyday problems.

That's how much the moon seems to move relative to the surface of the earth.

I know how you feel. My entire life i've always felt that the present overflowed with surprisingly primitively thinking people and tech that seemed too simplistic.

That comment made my day. ^_^

A lot of hostility, huh.

I'd like to point something out in relation to Myth #3.
Here in Europe, we've used MSG for almost 80 years and since the 1950's it has been a kitchen staple in the form of Knorr's Aromat spice blend. No problems were reported anywhere.

Someone could even make an app for coke heads that helps them line up the coke in a perfect line, show them adds above the coke line (for "drug test cheating", Craig list posting that include possible slang indicating they sells drugs and "nosebleed tissues") and a 911 feature that phones for an ambulance if it

In a pinch you can make one with a stick (or a ruler for extra accuracy), shoestring (or any string) and a stone (or anything small and heavy).

And homosexuality should have been accepted by any religion since the dawn of time, war should be an obviously bad idea to every person on earth and a minority should be considered part of the whole. But until we live in such a perfect world were everyone is guided by reason, logic and intelligence, the vast majority

I thing they should throw out the mold and start something new.

You're missing the point. Think about what happens when fairly harmless cute stereotypes are equally enjoyed with light-hearted comedy, by every sub-culture in modern society.
