I disagree with your party example. I would ask a man or a woman if they play videogames first. There definitely is not the assumption that EVERYONE plays videogames. Most people I know do not, or at least do not anymore. I wouldn’t want to make that assumption and risk making them feel uncomfortable.

Personally, I think the first one is the only one that counts as one of the best games ever made. The other two are inferior to the first.
