"Make sure you remember to fap to your old friend Gil! The wife says if I don't get more upvotes, she's moving to Miami with the pool boy!"

Popular music is basically all pecs/tits and ass anyway. This seems like a natural pairing.

That's /pol/ being /pol/. The fact of the matter is that they (and other 4chan people and those on spinoff sites) have been looking into this all day. The conclusion they've come to is this is a hoax by a group called SocialVEVO/Swenzy, a group that specializes in creating viral content through spamming social media

They should've accused the GCHQ, instead. I mean, at least the GCHQ were caught hacking people's Yahoo webcam chats for no other reason than that they could (and apparently they saw a lot of naked people while doing so). I'm not saying I believe an intelligence agency really is behind this, but at least the GCHQ would

What is broken in these idiots' brains where they don't see the irony in doing/threatening something sexist and misogynistic to "get back" at somebody for speaking out against sexism and misogyny???

"First of all, only a truly clueless shitstain would try to sell the notion that having nude photographs of your own body invalidates your right to speak out about anything ever again."

I am conflicted.

I'm pretty sure people demand it on every post on the subject. I haven't seen it addressed. It's reached the point where I'm assuming that they aren't allowed to discuss it, by a Gawker-wide mandate of silence.

...and someone who works for an organization that posted Hulk Hogan's sex-tape without his consent (a tape which was also recorded without his consent or knowledge) and then boasted about leaving it up despite a judge ordering them to take it down.

I seriously think there's a huge shift, in other areas as well, towards accepting some feminist ideals. There have been plenty of athletes convicted of domestic abuse but never a shit storm quite like this one. It seems like every day I see an anti-cat-calling post on Facebook. There is a ton of momentum around

Has anyone else noticed a huge shift in how the media covers this? I remember four or five years ago when a photo of Vanessa Hudgens leaked my local new station showed a "censored" version during the coverage. The media coverage of it was probably responsible for 90% of the photo's exposure. And the public consensus

Actually, they're speaking with a Rigelian accent. But by amazing coincidence, both accents sound exactly the same.

I agree that it's definitely questionable when people do things where the goal is simply to raise awareness that the disease exists. Yeah, we all know that breast cancer is a thing. I get annoyed about that too.

I have an idea, how about any time an NFL player gets arrested for domestic violence, rape, child abuse, murder, gang shootings, or any other bullshit where they are accused of hurting another human being, they automatically get suspended. If the charges are dropped or they are found innocent, they get reinstated

I miss shows like the earlier X-Files and Buffy that could pull of a monster of the week episodes inside a larger continuity. Seems like everything I happen to watch is either heavily serialized or exclusively MOTW.

Alan Ball and JJ Abrams both fail at continuity. You end up watching because they'll do new or audacious and interesting stuff, but by the last episode of the series you're thinking "How the hell am I going to get all those hours of my life back?"

I think continuity is good... but only when you actually are thinking things through. I haven't finished X-Files (I was watching it with my brother, who's no longer as immediately available as he once was) but my understanding is that the problem with the later seasons is less that it becomes more continuity focused

I think a show should either go all in on the continuity or not at all ... no half-way commitment or flaccid final-seasons-retconning **coughLOSTcough**

In the future, everyone will have dirt-paintings on their face.
