When I was diagnosed at the age of 30, the SCAR Project photos helped me. It made me realize that I could get through all the horrific surgeries, and it won't be the end of the world. I'd still be me, just a different body than what I was used to. Thank you for posing. It helped people like me.

Hmm. A while ago, I kept getting sponsored links to some page called "1-800-choke a ho" on Facebook. I reported it as offensive, reported all the posts/pics as offensive, and asked that they get taken down. I got a reply back from Facebook that they weren't taking it down because it didn't violate their terms.
You had an opportunity here to highlight the whole reason that this came about... The SCAR Project by David Jay. The SCAR Project is a large-scale photo project, raising awareness for breast cancer in women, most specifically under the age of 30.
