I’m guessing having the front and rear driveshafts locked together changes the brake bias. I think this video shows Ford has the brake bias tuned for dry pavement, not snow. If the same test was done on dry pavement, I’m guessing 2wd would stop shorter.

Even if they were the exact same price I’d still take the Wrangler. It’s better in every way.

Exactly. I can put a 400 hp V8 and big brakes on a Wrangler for way less than 200k. Actually, AEV already does that. You can buy those new from a dealer, built on AEV’s assembly line in Michigan.

(the original XJ Jeep Cherokee also had a composite tailgate!). I think you forgot about the SJ Cherokee. That’s the original Cherokee. Didn’t you just buy one of those??

Can you explain how a full time t-case helps pass a brake test?? I’m not following.

Came here to say this. The JL will probably be 3k more. In 2019 be prepared to pay even more for the diesel.

Why did they use magnesium for the tailgate??

1. I find documentaries on Nazis all the time on Netflix.

I’ve always been surprised these have not been featured in a movie, not even a documentary that I know of.

Awesome! The biggest reason I’ve never seriously considered getting a F150 Raptor is the size. Just not practical to drive in a city. (also, the terrible fuel economy) I am very interested in a Ranger Raptor. I really hope it has an available stick shift. Also, hopefully it has a decent towing capacity, if I buy a

Wrong. I’ve owned Wranglers for many years. Most owners would never buy from a Chinese company. Most likely they will hold on to their current Jeep, or possibly switch to a new Bronco. Can’t wait to hear Trump explain how the Chinese owning Jeep is making America great again.

It could still have a lever with selec trac. Pretty sure the XJ with the 242 had 2wd, awd, 4hi, N, and 4lo.

This drive me crazy. I can drive for miles in traffic following someone w/o touching the brakes, while they tap the pedal every 10 seconds.

Why is it FWD biased in tow mode?

Why do you think the NSG370 Wrangler 6 speed is “excellent”? I’ve been not so impressed with it. I prefer the NV3550 from the TJ.

Everytime I go to a dealer, my reciept shows mileage in and and mileage out.

Wrong. Turbo’s never had the runny egg headlights. Thoses were only on the 986 Boxster, and 996.1 911's.

Depends on what you want. If 35" tires is your goal, probably buy a Rubicon. If 40" tirea are your goal, probably buy a sport.

How do you figure? This is a regular Rubicon, but with added cosmetics. It’s even more plush than a regular Rubicon. The only significant part to me is the thicker front axle tubes, and end forgings. Everything else can easily be added to a regular Rubicon after the fact.

Recon packages is avaiable for both the 2 and 4 door.
