For simple things an oil filter or RTV, I usually go to Napa. Parts I usually get from a brand specific site like Quadratec, or Pelican. I’ve discovered Amazon is really great for odd ball tools. Recently I’ve used them for hose clamp pliers, and exhaust hanger pliers.  Plus a 8mm square drive socket for the coolant

1. It needs to have some sort of resemblance to the original. In my opinion, the most important part is the ridges at the edges of the hood/top of front fenders

I think GM was much more open. GM knew it was a problem, didn’t try to cover it up. GM issued a TSB so dealers could fix any igntion switches that cusomters thought were bad. This TSB was issued well before the media got the story. Also, GM engineers drove the vehicles at the proving grounds with a bad switch. They

Very interesting. Can’t wait to find out more about the “auxiliary emission control devices”. So far, to me, just having different emissions at speeds higher than tested does not seem like a defeat device. VW, however, having different controls when the steering wheel is not turned, definitely is a defeat device.

I don’t see why it needs to be BOF ability when the capabilites offered by a unibody Grand Cherokee or Range Rover are plenty for basically everyone. Not to mention Chrysler isn’t exactly known for great quality or great dealers. Never been to a Land Rover dealer, but I know I would feel much better dropping 100k at

Just because you have money doesn’t mean you want to waste it. Tell me about cigarette boat sales and usage when fuel prices are really high.

Weird, it seems they plan on doing body on frame. That may have worked in the 90's, but I don’t possibly see how they can compete with a Range Rover using a Ram frame. Not to mention the undoubted terrible fuel economy. Possibly a luxury version of the Rescue concept?

Very interesting. They’d be fools to not do a full length sun roof/targa top. Maybe use cloth like the KK Liberty.  I’m assuming it won’t be a real convertible, since there are rumors the JL Wrangler might not even be one!

Seems like a cool idea. I could have a ATS-V all summer, then an Escalade all winter. Would be cheaper than 2 car payments.

Interestingly, uppercase Jeep is Wrangler, Cherokee, etc. Lowercase jeep is generic military transport. Fox really should have pointed out it was Russian, and not a Jeep.

“lifelong Washington fixture ... drain the swamp” makes sense.

He should have put a magnet on it to see if it was aluminum.

The engine size does not really surprise me. I’ve read that 1/2 litre cylidners are about the best from an efficency stand point. Therefore, 2.0L fours, 3.0L sixes, and 4.0L eights should be pretty common. A 1.2L four must have some small cylinders.

Wow, 36K has to be the cheapest one ever sold with a clean title.

I was thinking nice price, until I found out it still has the stock 5.3, and not the 6.0 that the Silverado SS had. Nice looking truck though.

I’d like mine in a smaller vehicle (like Ranger size) and with a manual transmission. The Raptor has the advantage of being a factory package with a factory warranty, but for that price, I think I could build a pretty nice Tacoma.

kind of reminds me of a 2017 Panamera interior

Mid-engine cars have novelty, but I’m not so sure being front engined is really a limiting factor unless you are racing. There are front engined cars with plenty of performance. Does anyone look at a Ferrari F12, or Viper ACR and think, gee these really need to be mid-engined? I see a mid-engined Corvette as a

The Ranger looks a lot smaller to me, but kind of unfair since that’s a Raptor which is taller and wider than a normal F150.

Shame, I like the way the e89 looks. It actually stands out in traffic compared to all the other boring looking cars.
