If that were true, how does Ferrari fund the LaFerrari?

That's messed up. I've wheeled a TJ hard since 2003 / 100,000 mi, and the only things that have ever gone wrong are a radiator cap seal, and crank position sensor.

They could move from Toledo South to Toledo North. They are very different factories.

There are way to many variables to make an absolute blanket statement. Some cars go up in value (eg Ford GT). Some cars people keep for the rest of their lives, so they don't care about depreciation. Maybe you want that extra rare option that can really only be had by ordering new form the factory, this could be

Agreed, there is absolutely no point. Ridgeline MPG = 15/21. Ecoboost F150 MPG = 16/22. Who would want a less capable truck that gets worse fuel economy.

Having only a stick may hurt sales, but it also helps keep them out of the hands of people who think this is a good idea:

Seriously, how do posts like this make it to front page of Jalopnik? It's a concept car from 7 years ago! I remember when Jalopnik used to be full of good articles. Now many of the articles are unrelated to cars, contain worthless content, or are just clickbait.

Good, I never liked the way that looked. Fiat/Chrysler needs to pay very close attention since this could definitely eat into Wrangler sales. If Wrangler goes IFS and Defender goes SFA, all the hard core wheelers and aftermarket support could jump ship to Land Rover. I bet it will end up being like a cheaper and

Those things are barely related. That's like saying my water bottle does not have a dipstick, therefore, I cannot empty it and put new fresh water in.

Works great until someone bumps one of the poles which then falls on the car.

Agreed, I don't care for electric cars because they lack an exhaust note, and the wide rev range means there is no point in coupling with a manual transmission. As an appliance / commuter car they are fine. If we have to switch from gasoline, hydrogen combustion may become the enthusiasts choice.

This seems very silly considering most (non-Jalopnik) people can't even name the brands GM sells under.

It's not enough that it has a transverse V6 in an engine bay crammed with twin turbos, twin intercoolers, all wheel drive, four wheel steering, electronically adjustable suspension, tunable exhaust and active aerodynamics...because it also has a folding metal roof. There's a reason these things weigh close to two tons.

I'd rather see a movie about WWII Germany and cars like the T80. http://jalopnik.com/the-sleek-stre… The story of Dr. Ferdinand Porsche and technological advancements / competitions of the time.

Unless there was a design flaw, I don't see how this could go anywhere. Porsche should be able to say the car complied with all applicable safety standards.

Are you trying to compare suspension arm angles between one vehicle sitting on level ground, and another that's on a sand dune???

Neat feature, but why do they show it in a situation where it's not needed? Also, it's still no substitute for a good spotter.

I think I'd chose something with a weight ratio closer to 50/50 to do a long jump.

Jeep Cherokee SJ and presidential limo

If you want something that sounds like a Formula-1 car, but can be driven to get groceries too, it's either the Lexus LFA or this one. Thanks Cayenne buyers!
