I could see this happening. They need to recoup R&D cost from the 918.

Sadly, it does look a lot like the crude rendering that has been on Allpar for a while. Also, sadly, it's still better looking than the KL Cherokee, or MK Compass.

I guess all the anti-union propaganda worked. I wonder if the workers there know they make less than 1/2 of VW's union workers?

I'm sure it's possible to lift, but I don't see the point. The XJ had components that were robust and easily upgradeable. Once it's lifted, I wouldn't doubt if the KL actually loses flex, as was the case with Hummer H3's. Plus, does anyone actually make gear sets for the KL? Once larger tires are fitted, it won't

I'll have to try to remember to post my video tonight

I'm very surprised they aren't doing this for the Tacoma. To me, the downsides of a raptor are that it's huge, and automatic only. Tacoma is a nice size, and available with a stick. I'd be happy with a supercharged V6. Problem is, I doubt these Toyota trucks will have a suspension that is actually comparable to

I wouldn't be at all surprised if all if desert golf courses do more damage than desert 4x4 trails.

How has Jalopnik not featured the whole article yet?? I'd really like to see it!

Now you have me searching for bizzare drivetrains. Look at this independent suspension with geared hubs!

Impressive, that looks like a symmetrical setup. Obviously modern Suabrus and Porsches use a symmetric setup, but I had no idea a vehicle this old used it. I think the FF had a transfer case.

While I'm not sure if Porsche's complete financial history is public, I think the 986 Boxster was a changing point. It was quite popular and the parts sharing between the 986 and 996 certainly helped reduce costs compared to the 993. I might be ok with the Cayenne, Panamera, and Macan if Porsche was an independent

I'll just leave this here

makes sense:

I know it's a 964 v. Panamera, but i find this pic from Rennlist funny

Ford tried this with the Ranger EV. Reminds me of the article I read that caused me start reading Jalopnik everyday. http://jalopnik.com/239104/preside… Is it sad that I've Jalopnik almost everyday for nearly 7 years?

I really like the 'Unlimited' name. All the cars labeled at 'limited' never made sense to me. Seems like Jeep is making fun of all of those and highlighting unlimited possibilities etc.

The P1 was beat by Porsche and Mclaren does not want to admit it. If Mclaren didn't think ring times were important, why mention it at all, or have a target, or do testing there?

I'm disappointed there are not more people complaining that this is not a real Porsche. There can be many definitions of "real", for me, a 4 door cannot be a "real" Porsche. I don't care how many wheels are driven, where the engine is, how many cylinders it has, or how it's cooled. Anything with 4 doors strays too
