The P1 was beat by Porsche and Mclaren does not want to admit it. If Mclaren didn't think ring times were important, why mention it at all, or have a target, or do testing there?

I'm disappointed there are not more people complaining that this is not a real Porsche. There can be many definitions of "real", for me, a 4 door cannot be a "real" Porsche. I don't care how many wheels are driven, where the engine is, how many cylinders it has, or how it's cooled. Anything with 4 doors strays too…
Tom Cruise is a terrible choice. That's a shame since it's such a good story, it definitely has potential to be a good movie. However, it will likely be a typical Hollywood block buster. Lots of explosions and so loosely based on reality, it will seem like the similarities are almost coincidental rather than…
"The last two Targas had a sliding glass roof" technically, this is a correct statement. However, I'd argue it is more correct to say "The last three Targas had a sliding glass roof" 993,996, and 997 had the same basic Targa setup with a sliding glass panel.
The maker section kind of confuses me. I see 20 Germnay, 12 S. Korea, 12 USA. I wouldn't have guessed that Germany makes way more cars than the US, and S. Korea makes just as many. Of course, it's not clear if a Chevy made in S. Korea would be counted as USA or S. Korea?
So all I have to do is buy 5 Mondial cabriolets to be eligible to buy a LaFerrari?
These are the only knock off's I've seen with an interior that actually looks kind of close. Most of them just change the badges inside and nothing else.
What a jerk. I'm glad the Prius is popular. All the Prius drivers save gas allowing non-prius drivers to consume more. It would be great if nearly everyone drove a 50 mpg car, while the small percentage of enthusiasts continued to drive what they enjoy.
Anyone know where I can find a list of GT winners though the years. I can find lists for the prototype cars, but not GTs
I think many commentators here fail to realize this is a pre-poduction model with camouflage. The official reveal must be very soon, because if they are diving with the top off, they want to be seen to build chatter. I have no way of knowing this other than common sense, but I can pretty much guarantee the fabric…
For a safari you are more likely to find diesel than gasoline and will want a metal roof. So, for me a Jeep would actually not be my choice. I'd take a very tough and reliable Land Cruiser. While the one pictured has IFS, I think I'd go for a simpler solid axel model. Too bad we don't get a diesel SFA Land Cruiser…
I'm fine with the fact that you can get a GT3 or Turbo with the PDK. What I'm not fine with is that no manual is even offered as an option. Really, Porsche is quite profitable, I think they afford the development costs of both transmissions. Especially when you consider a lot of the work is already done since there…
It looks like they repainted some panels, but not others, then did a poor job of blending...
Any Porsches yet?
I'm I the only one who's noticed that many modern cars have cameras to aid in parking. They also have hard drives for entertainment. I say it won't be long until a manufacturer puts 2 and 2 together and realize it would not be difficult to integrate a dash (bumper) cam from the factory. Of course they would need to…
City officials are now changing the the towns motto to "the relentless pursuit of governance by robots."
