I'm not ok that this was not mentioned in the episode. They could have easily shown the clip as is, then go back to the studio where Jeremy or Richard could point out that actually 11 rims were broken in the process. Similar to the 911 review Jeremy did where he claimed that it had lost it's tail happy nature.

Wow, I always assumed XJ's and TJ's had the same gauge cluster. I guess not, the one found in TJ's is way more comprehensive. The one you have pictured actually looks like an April fools joke to me...

I don't understand why a $150,000 Porsche GT3 doesn't give you a choice of transmissions, but a $16,000 Dodge Dart does.

So if you can't do what you want as an elected official because of checks and balances, you can hire someone who can do whatever they want? That doesn't sound like democracy to me.

You need brush up on your 4X4 history. Mark A Smith did it. What vehicle? A Jeep of course! It was a mostly stock CJ. I've been lucky enough to meet him, and see the CJ that did the journey.

Best compromise? Aston Martin emotion control unit. Not that I've ever had the chance to use one...

Funny, the article discusses wanting to look current in 5 years? Everyone knows the best way to do that is to choose a timeless design like the Wrangler or 911. It would be incredibly easy to fool the average person into believing a 5 year old Wrangler or 911 was brand new. Heck, even a 2001 Cherokee. Something

Am I the only one who looks at the line-up pic and thinks the the white one looks a lot smaller than the balck one to the left??? Serisouly.

That's an E-stop.  All the engineering cars from all the automakers have that.  This particular vehicle will never be sold to anyone if it has that installed - it's still preproduction.

1990 Jeep Wagoneer 2000 Concept

Reminds me of someone with a pony tail that is too tight.  Everything is pulled back/stretched towards the rear.

I haven't seen it in person, but I really don't like it, I think the C6 interior is better.

Easy, Jeep Wrangler

Doubtful, since Hybrids and EV's can use carpool lanes all the time.

Apparently I don't know how to post images with this new comment system.

My list includes several that have already been listed:

I bet a stock Chevy without the poser mods would have done better. A poorly engineered aftermarket suspension with what looks like 35" mud tires, and probably a 3.73:1 axle ratio are not going to help you win a tug of war. For those claiming it has to do with the VW's fancy AWD, I say The Chevy's 4WD system should

It's weird for me, generally I like a more basic car with out electronic gadgetry. I like cars like the Viper, the Cobra, and even Wranglers, but between these two, I'd take the 959.
