Ok, I went back and re-read your first comment which makes its incredibly clear that you didn't read all the way and/or didn't catch that it was a joke. And furthermore, you're saying the same thing that people who missed the joke always say: "I got that it was a joke (lie), but I fired off as if it wasn't because so

Said everyone who got whooshed ever.

Nice move, you totally defused that potentially embarrassing situation.

How so? If anything it's an illustration of how much we take normal NBA help defense for granted...

Yeah, the team's united stand against the truth is perfect. Just how dumb are these guys?

"the word ceased to lose all meaning for a bit."

Your 13th birthday party sounds ridiculously janky.

You mean on an in-bounds? So you're certain that you don't have to establish both feet out of bounds before throwing an inbound pass?

They didn't let this violation go, but other than that, good point.

Well, apparently nobody was actually WATCHING the game last night, because the refs called that as an inbounds violation. I'm not sure what the exact wording of the rule is, but even though Love's right foot was out of bounds and his left was off the ground, one of the announcers speculated that it was a violation

It's not about reading more, it's about listening to others when they speak in person or on screen. Julian apparently doesn't do it very well.

That's my bad, when I said "those guys" I just meant announcers in general, wasn't trying to cast aspersions on Steve Stone who is, by all accounts, a great color guy.

That's fair, but my point wasn't that the other announcer was actually an idiot, just that he had the wherewithal to not jump in there with Hawk. Apologies to Steve Stone, I'm not familiar with his work and didn't mean to insult him.

At first I thought you were trolling, but now I'm second guessing. You REALLY don't think that was an absurd thing to say? "Typical Asian motion...deception involved..." Even the other announcer seemed stunned, and those guys are idiots.

I can see how you maybe disagree with "annihilated", I was referring more to their way of life, but really, "displaced" is a problem for you? The American Indians are nothing if not displaced.

Hmmm. I feel like the proliferation of the n-word in media works in opposition to that darker historical context. And as far as racist speech goes, it seems to make more sense that there is a maximum level of offense that you can project with a single word. Every race has one, historical context just determines how

I take issue with your taxonomy. Kike and Redskin are more on the same level as Nigger (tier 1, hate speech) whereas Chinamen, Japs, Jew-boys, (Injuns) and Darkies are all slightly less hateful (tier 2, old-timey racism). Braves and Indians aren't slurs at all, it's just not appropriate to use a displaced and

The fact that you'd bring up toughness makes me think that you really missed the point.

At least women are still allowed to have exposed undergarments.

Eh, it's only "crazy" if you're willing to half-heartedly believe in ghosts. Otherwise it's just shit that happened.
