Or you can just be Bethesda, where difficulty curve = You do less damage, they do more. Scale this up to “everything oneshots you” and add in unavoidable scripted finishers, and there you go.

Please explain to me why I should have a problem with VALVe, or better yet give me some examples of how I have “fallen on my sword” for them because they are no longer leaking my sales data.

As a consumer and not a developer, I have trouble finding a reason to care that this is being nix’d alongside Steam Spy. I completely understand that this must be a pain for Devs who were using these tools for analysis and the like.
