Once again overwatch is watering down gameplay. This change can be boiled down to automating player choice to lower the skill ceiling while pushing the skill floor so you can touch both without moving.

I’ve already established that 1080p30 is not “fine” by 2023 standards. Any game releasing at 1080p30 on PS5/XSX/PC in 2023 will be deservedly lambasted because that’s far below modern technical standards and is extra absurd when these are ports of games that were released over 20 years ago.

just a little upscaling would have gone a long way. i think their statement is misleading and the game will render with a normal internal resolution. but look how good it can look with just some upscaling!

It’s a REMASTER.  They can re do the whole damn game in 60fps.  Not impossible by any means.  Just a lot of time and money.  

You’re kind of ignoring the fact that modern games struggle to run at native 4K because they also have many other demands on the GPU. A game released in 1998 is not going to have those same demands. Hell, a phone could run MGS1 at 4k60.

There are numerous mods for FF7PC that make the battles 60FPS and it looks and works great.

All other things aside with how unimpressive this already is, but why is MGS2 running at 30 on the Switch ever? It was 60 FPS on the Playstation 2, there’s no reason the handheld Switch version should be operating at 30, let alone the docked mode.
