The cash shop is absolutely a blight on the game. If pre-takeoff industry upstart Fortnite could offer a better season one battlepass than Infinite, the pre-existing billion dollar franchise game, then that means the choice to be anti-consumer was absolutely deliberate. No way to earn currency, the abysmal armor core

This comment is especially amusing given that DV doesn’t require an HDMI 2.1 port and never has. Atmos also doesn’t require an HDMI 2.1 connection unless you are doing uncompressed Atmos from the likes of a 4K bluray, and even that feature (eARC) was backported to HDMI 2.0 by most manufacturers.

I’m still greyed, so no one will see it, but I commented earlier with what should be a relatively easy fix for all of this.

Give each mode its own discrete set of challenges that are only active while in that mode.

So, instead of having a big list of active challenges that make players hop around from mode to mode, when

Not to repeat myself but it’s still bullshit that there aren’t any meaningful ways to get new armor cores without paying for a Battle Pass and then (hopefully) grinding up enough levels to actually access the parts.

Ugh, why did they have to add wins? I usually solo-queue, and I don’t like it when my progression is tied to the performance of random team-mates. Or worse, there’s a cheater on the enemy team putting us at a disadvantage. It just feels like a challenge designed to waste peoples’ time.

Except, they went and added a bunch of challenges that force you into Ranked Matches, where people like me definitely don’t want to be. At least one slot seems to be unskippably tied to Ranked. I used 3 challenge skips, and every single time that slot rolled another Ranked Match challenge.

People who want to play

in Halo 3 you still leveled up by doing well in matches. you also unlocked pieces of armor by completing Achievements which was Halo 3's equivalent to challenges. the game rewarded and encouraged you for doing well. Halo Infinite does not. Halo Infinite just bugs you to pay Microsoft more money for micro-transactions

This reasoning is getting so tired. Free-to-play AAA games didn’t exist in 2007. To expect Halo not to change with the times is folly.

Right now im actually just cheesed off at the halo reach HAZOP helmet being sold for an insane 20$ after i had already bought the battlepass. like, yea the progression needs tweaking still, but their money system NEEDS a change, cause those prices are beyond acceptable in any form.

It seems a little wild that experience for match performance and medals is just getting added now, but I will take it.

I think a good adaptation is inherently a derivative work. Let’s use Beethoven as an example again: his Moonlight Sonata was an attempt to convey the beauty of the moon - inherently visual - through sound alone, and I doubt you’ll find anyone who thinks he failed.

This is the trap of anime. It’s successes invites people to attempt a live-action remakes for profit (understandably) but only those who don’t appreciate the inherent value of the form of anime itself would fall for it.

I mean... they added the original anime like two weeks before premiere.

Why is the site constantly reloading and shifting as I’m trying to read (and even as I type this comment)? Please get your shit together!

If I was a a casting director and had to choose between Ferrell and Riley to play Jerry Buss, I’d pick Riley. He’s a much more versatile performer, is better at drama, and even somewhat resembles the man.

Any word on the bonus XP for tea-bagging dead opponents for longer than 5 seconds? Give unto the Halo players that which belongs to the Halo players.

Not enough.

If it doesn’t address one key issue I had, it still needs work IMO. I liked Tenrai: Fracture quite a bit. The Fiesta mode was engaging and entertaining, but leveling up had its drawbacks. In order to get a Tenrai challenge to move into your challenge queue, you had to complete separate, non-Tenrai challenges.

So,

This announcement comes mere hours after I staked out the heroic, legendary stance that Halo Infinite’s battle pass is totally fine the way it is.
