There is no way you wrote that comment with a straight face. As someone who sells systems for a living: You are flat-out wrong, no inch of daylight, no space for opinion. You can find sub-$300 C2D Thinkpads on the reseller/refurb market that are high quality systems that will do everything the average user needs (In a

Going to do my research after this post but wanted to know from you guys:

Same here. Considering just waiting for the GS 50% Black Friday Deal.

People |really| need to stop throwing around the word homophobic, not wanting to be forced into doing something against your sexual preference when pursuing 100% completion has no tinge of phobia of any sort. Ask arachnophobes who try to play games with spider based enemies and physically cannot get through it

How is it that the guy who can write that last paragraph:

There's little love lost for me when DEVs cry about a low score in any fashion.

Having tested the limits of LIVE's response time with my old GT (It was deemed explicit by the LIVE team after I'd had it for a year so I tried 4 variations) I can tell you that a few weeks is their standard review time and nothing in her recounting is contrary to this time-frame.

Are you suggesting that video game stories are by their very nature inferior to the average movie story? This is no different then if a Gawker outlet were to attempt to coin one of their "X-gate" stories and it happen to hit a nerve with some obscure coincidental reference to some vaguely racist phonetic trope. It happens, and when it does even if the public fall over themselves trying to out-outrage each-other: another

You are either a troll or you lack comprehension of what an opinion and a supposition of a fact is.

While you may have a point on the nature of the product placement being blatant. This: "which would be like any of us using a PC from 1999 in our daily lives" is a throwaway point at best.

Someone in the crowd should have shouted: "MAYBE YOU HAVN"T SIGNED IN FOR 24 HOURS!!!"

People who decry MS Points are largely whining for whining sake. As they don't have a specified cash value they typically go on cheaper sale price than their PSN counterpart and in some states they completely avoid certain taxes (though some have noted they incur a different tax scheme in certain States so YMMV).
