I loved Broadchurch. The American remake, Gracepoint, is apparently hot garbage.

I use an iPhone app called Headspace. It's a beautiful app with guided meditation audio recordings. Their beginner track with ten different 10 minute sessions is free. For a few dollars a month, you can get access to their massive library of recordings. I used a Cyber Monday deal to subscribe the other week.
Make sure that your sense of personal development and progress is not entirely dependent on finding work.
I, too, fear being dead. It's been my biggest fear since childhood. Back in college, I had a panic attack while folding the laundry. I was just going about my business when out of nowhere I couldn't shake that existential dread you spoke of. The room began to spin and I clung to a table to prevent myself from keeling…
I'm not so sure. I've only seen the Nashville episode, but part of the point of that one is that Dave Grohl is going down South to explore a notable musical city and tradition he knows little about. If the series is just about Grohl's influences and upbringing, why include that episode at all?
I've only seen the Nashville episode. The parts on country music history were enjoyable; the parts focusing on the Foo Fighter's were super boring. With that said, there was a weird segment in that episode when they flipped back and forth between two versions of the same song: the country music original, and the more…
Thanks for trying.
So...you're a blogger. You have a large audience. Can you contact Tina Fey to request comment?
This isn't really an answer, but your comment reminded me of this NPR interview today with the president of the St. Louis Association of Black Psychologists. She discusses working with children traumatized by Ferguson and the important role parents must play.
I am familiar with your work and ALF. It's great to see you in the Jezebel comments section! Some years back, during one of my crises of faith in libertarianism, I was pleasantly surprised to find one of your speeches on Youtube.
Targeted financial boycotts. Find out if the prosecutor and NYPD higher-ups have spouses, siblings, friends, etc. who are business owners or executives or otherwise have strong financial interests. Then organize online to stop supporting them. I'm not sure if the identities of the jurors will be made public, but if…
Absolutely. For a few years now I've sought out his interviews on Youtube. This may be sacrilege, but I enjoyed Amy Poehler's recent interview with Stern more than her interview with Terry Gross, both recorded on the same day.
Moreover, you'd think mainstream libertarians would jump at the opportunity to criticize colleges and the police for mishandling campus sexual assaults. Libertarians LOVE to crucify police forces for their incompetence, corruption, and brutality. Libertarians LOVE to slam colleges, particularly state schools like UVA,…
Sadly, those women actually meant #SmellsAmazeBalls. Different meaning entirely.
You know who didn't spend Thanksgiving with Terry Richardson? Gwyneth Freaking Paltrow. I award this round to Goop.
Shitty video; great one-handed catch.
Of course. I added that detail not because I was shocked but because it depressed me.
For a far better Cosby article, I recommend the Washington Post's thorough story from today.
