Cry for Rose Leslie who played her so well.
Well, this episode reminded me of a quote from an AV Club review of the Blackwater episode: "Epic doesn't denote the number of people on screen. It denotes the amount we invest in those onscreen, no matter how small that number may be."
Martin will probably have Grand Maester Pycelle poison Maester Aemon or some cruel nonsense.
If you watch interviews of the cast members, Kit Harrington usually comes across as one of the most boring. I don't mean to hate, but I just don't think he's in the same league as many of his castmates.
The worst part of this episode was that Kit Harrington is still a part of this show while Rose Leslie is not. Seriously bummed me out.
I don't think Martina Navratilova is coaching. But Martina Hingis coaches Sabine Lisicki, and her mom coaches Belinda Bencic. Nathalie Tauziat has also coached several women.
"Always" was the key word in that sentence. So unless you think Buck has been encouraging Davis to take PEDs since high school, his body type has not changed dramatically under Buck's influence.
For me it has to do with the structured nature of devouring a TV series—there's a clear end point, and it's easy to track my progress.
Well, I've already watched the whole second season. I can't say Piper gets that much more interesting, but her family and friends are a hoot. And all the new characters are fantastic. A lot of the educated "mainstream" white women on the show are kind of dull (e.g. Piper, Alex, Fig, etc.). I don't know if they're just…
Davis is a bad example. Davis has always looked like a linebacker playing first base and he's always had "easy power". His problem was his swing and inability to make contact. Last season's home run output was the result of chasing fewer balls and making more consistent contact.
I agree about Piper, but I do think Taylor Schilling plays her well.
I wish I felt as accomplished when I do an actual adult life thing as I do when I progress through a TV series on Netflix. I truly wish.
Mauresmo endured constant comparison to men during her playing days (e.g. "Mauresmo hits as hard as a man", "Amelie's arms look like a man's", etc.). I'm just waiting for a stupid tennis observer to explain that she's a suitable coach for Andy because she's not like those other female players, she always played like a…
Same. I'm up to the second to last episode. I forgot how many feels I get watching this show, and also how much awkward/cringe-humor there is.
You forgot to mention that Sharapova also plays great defense, which she displayed often in this match. That and her improved movement on clay is why she's won 2 RG titles. Maria's game will never be the prettiest, but there's more subtlety to it than you give her credit for.
This is so true. At a certain point, constant masturbation becomes a form of escapism/self-medication for me. I'm sure post-college unemployment is a (masturbation) trigger for many of us. Working from home too:
To be fair, Sloane Stephens is kind of the worst. I can't even with her recent comment about Simona Halep.
Last August, at the US Open qualifying tournament, I managed to get ketchup all over my face. I went to wash myself off, and as I rounded a building, there was Taylor Townsend strolling along by herself in practice gear. As I passed her, she noticed the goop on my face and snickered.
