Out the gate those games were on Wii U though. It had the best version of Need for Speed (even ran the PC version assets), COD Black Ops (with 1 player on gamepad, 1 on tv option), Assassins Creed Black Flag, the best version of Arkham Knight, etc. And that is before you talk about 1st/2nd party games like W101,

The Wii U successor makes me really nervous and sad. If its not a big hit, Nintendo is going to further their reputation as an “X game player” and i’m not sure they can continue. Its a crying shame that the Wii U isn’t more of a hit and I feel like its in large part to people’s perceptions that the hardware sucks.

“the xbox one is pretty much the quietest and coolest console ever build.” Lol your fanboyism is really showing through with that claim. Maybe quietest console microsoft has built? But remember cartridges, those were silent.

Hey The Vars Molta, this doesn’t relate to you directly but I was hoping you could approve my comment. I posted it a couple days ago and it died in the ether but thought there was another interesting angle about the history of the 360:

The most interesting thing about the xbox 360 is the way developers used the hardware over time. The launch games for it looked terrible http://kotaku.com/the-xbox-360-h…

I liked hearing your perspective as a Fallout veteran. I’ve always been curious about trying the games but my first fore-ray into a Bethesda game was Skyrim and it was one of my least favorite games I’ve ever played. According to Jesse Schnell (gamepocalyse guy) people enjoy video games because they give tangible

The creator says it took him 39 hours to beat. Say the level is about 40 seconds so the average play time before dying is 20 seconds. (39 hours * 3600 seconds ) / 20 seconds per life = 7020 attempts!

sure let me know when you download it and i’ll message you an invite

Great points and I totally agree with the additional shouts. In terms of communication though i’ve been using the discord app, its on all platforms. There is a splatoon channel that makes finding a team ranked match really streamlined and easy (i think you need an invite to the splatoon channel though). It really

Very good points, and I hear you about giving Nintendo credit for doing something different. They find themselves in a really strange place where everyone criticizes them for rehashing games and not innovating but if you actually play the games you see that could not be further from the truth. In fact I WISH they

I wonder if the move to #1 worst traffic is partly because of the HOT lanes? I’ve seen on 495 that they actually create traffic because you can pay to use a hot lane, enter on 495, and exit back on to 495. So now for every car that takes it, the cars that did not take it will have to wait for the HOT lanes to merge

I bought a 2010 370Z touring edition, stick shift convertible last year for $25K (same as the slingshot). Its not quite as open air as the slingshot but you have AC, cooled seats, a roof when you need it, its faster, its a real car, safer, can fit golf clubs, etc. I may be biased but I think that is the better deal.

For those curious stage 3 starts at 8:45 in the video. I’m by NO means an authority on this but I agree with the comments below that the Japanese stages seems to be a little “easier” (very relative word). For example stage 3 seems to be mostly about grip strength and the US version is about explosive power (like the

The thing that bothers me is she advocates for “fat shaming” because she thinks there is nothing wrong with shaming people for making bad decisions. So where is single mother shaming, low education shaming, abusive relationship shaming, divorce shaming, low income shaming, abortion shaming, dangerous job shaming, etc

I’m with you, I’m just now getting to the part where big boss dies ;)

I own Nintendo consoles mostly to play his games... though i’m very much dreading star fox wii u

Interesting point. I remember when Satoru Iwata made the claim that iOS games were not threatening consoles but rather the games industry as a whole. The reason was he said you can’t make a truly great game that costs 99 cents. Obviously people will provide counter examples to this, but I understand his sentiment.

Good point! Also the article is interesting that perhaps the penalty for deflategate was higher because of this. I’m sure you’ve seen the stats of fumble rates, regardless of deflategate, the patriots made some change in 2007. Its hard to prove what that is... its also the same year that Brady won his petition to

Are you kidding me!?! I still have nightmares about losing at the finish line of those insanely hard slide races!
