not sure if serious.... what are the creative game ideas coming out of Sony that you are referring to?

Ok but there is no denying there are negligible, creative difference in the latest AAA titles. The biggest innovation of late came from Halo. Big seemingly open environments, squad mates, and regenerating health. Before that i think GTA was the most revolutionary game. And when you really break it down every AAA…
The cost/price thing is crazy to me. I got a wii u deluxe for slightly under $300. Not only do i have a gaming console I often use the controller like a tablet... watching movies (netflix, hulu, amazon, youtube), surfing the web, checking email, mii verse is kind of cool, have loaded up some old school roms etc. …
That is a great idea! I was also thinking it'd be a natural fit for a rainbow six type game where I can draw how I want my squad to move or advance through a building to corner or trap a target etc.
Felt the same way when Final Fantasy went to a Sony system. It happens
According to the facts you are right. E3 is historically used as a demonstration of the latest, greatest, biggest, upcoming games. If you want the best opportunity to play them you'll need a PC and Wii U. Look at this chart
Did he get the Wii U footage from youtube? If so, its not good for a detailed comparison considering the source footage is confirmed to be 1080p 60 fps which youtube scales considerably
@ralju woa woa woa You are saying Sony has never treated their customers like thieves!?!? I mean I understand in this context they may not be as in your face about DRM as Microsoft, but in the broader context that statement is more than a little myopic. Do you not remember the RIAA lawsuits? Or Sony loading…
@hnkeh That is incredibly false. Mario Kart 8 has full environmental lighting, plus proper self shadows and ground shadows. You also drastically under estimate the difference in power and resources it takes to go from 720p to 1080p. Not to mention drastically over estimate the number of PS/360 games that ran at 60…
As sort of a side note, its actually really impressive what Wii U has shown graphically at E3. Smash Brothers is confirmed to be 60 FPS at 1080p which is a huge feat! Mario Kart 8 may be as well. Bayonetta 2 and X also seem to be making the case that power wise Wii U is much more than PS/360 and change. I think…
I saw Final Fantasy but were there other RPGs or JRPGs shown for PS4 or XBone? I ask because I'm starting to think that if Wii U dev time and dev costs can be smaller, it might be a good platform for games that have new or risky ideas.
I was referring to the metroid prime series
@Lyger101 "Online shooters are the dominant online games for this era so its really a niche market."
@Rich8606, i totally agree with you about Ryse and Dead Rising 3! They look great but the game play looks stale, stiff, unimaginative, and easy. Lol @ "press LB to win"
More like Call of Duty meets Metroid (first person platforming dynamics look identical)
All the coolest parts of the video are in 3rd person perspective... i feel like the game might work better like that. In first person it looks like metroid prime meets Halo
