There’s a difference between systematic racism and being responsible for your choices. She wasn’t going to get blacklisted by labels by having a lawyer read a contract. I would be anything that she was ecstatic to sign it at the time. You make it sound like they held her down and forced her to sign her name.

Give me a break. Megan could have hired lawyers to read the contract. She was a 20 year old woman. She was old enough to make legal decisions and smart enough to figure it out. People conveniently remove the agency when they want to have sympathy. It was a decision she made.

I dunno about that. Most contracts have very clearly defined entry and exit terms. She has never released a studio album. Maybe its the label. Maybe it’s her wanting the album released so she can leave, but there are financial payments she owes them.
