There’s a difference between systematic racism and being responsible for your choices. She wasn’t going to get blacklisted by labels by having a lawyer read a contract. I would be anything that she was ecstatic to sign it at the time. You make it sound like they held her down and forced her to sign her name.

Give me a break. Megan could have hired lawyers to read the contract. She was a 20 year old woman. She was old enough to make legal decisions and smart enough to figure it out. People conveniently remove the agency when they want to have sympathy. It was a decision she made.

I dunno about that. Most contracts have very clearly defined entry and exit terms. She has never released a studio album. Maybe its the label. Maybe it’s her wanting the album released so she can leave, but there are financial payments she owes them.

He wasted police resources, so they wasted a year’s more (and counting) resources. Makes total sense.  This has already likely cost the city millions.  All this to placate a few Foxnews chuds.

Never has one guy had so many chances, been so bad, and still have people trying to salvage his reputation. He had made one decent movie, 300, and the rest has been borderline awful. I thought Watchmen was okay until the HBO series basically embarrassed him.

I’m not sure Mayor Pete can’t beat Trump. I honestly think he has the best chance. He is young, so younger voters go that way. He’s also a bland white dude, so suburban whites would be comfortable. Black people going to vote Democrat to get Trump out.
