Most folks, Harriot not included, are missing Trump’s real point. The birthright bit is about disenfranchising all non white people.

This may sound harsh, but who cares? If he isn’t mentally strong enough to handle being a professional athlete, then he shouldn’t be one. He would just be another bust. He’s got his money.

Why don’t they send him to the D-League?  Isn’t that what it is for?  He can’t shoot, and he is a mental mess.  He can get minutes and confidence.  If the D-League doesn’t work, then he was going to bust anyway.

I am pretty certain he was joking when he said that and didn’t really mean it.

In fairness to him, playing in the NFC South really hurt him. Every team has a high octane offense, and it leads to shoot outs hence interceptions. He isn’t as good as Drew Brees, Matt Ryan, or Cam, and the Bucs are routinely awful in terms of coaching.

Republicans try to shoot up a black church but end up randomly kill two others. Republicans mail bombs to Democrats in the mail. Republicans, one too extreme to even vote for Trump, shoots up a synagogue.

The North was racist too.  They just were against slavery.  There was not equality at the time.  That scenario is simply unrealistic given the era. 

I hate Trish Walker as well.  Just wanted to say that because the character does not get enough hatred on the internet.

As a Black person, I would have happily been the cannon fodder. What is the alternative?  Not fighting and allowing my family members to continue to be raped, tortured and treated like animals?

It’s probably a liberal. You know how those liberals are prone to violence. My guess is that it a far left person angry that they didn’t get free healthcare when they were both elected President.

During season 1 and the beginning of season one that is true. She wasn’t supposed to be sympathetic at the end. For Pete’s Sake marked the transition. She went from trying to do right to accepting she was a Stokes and going full evil.

She wasn’t supposed to have any redeeming qualities. She was a black, female villain. The story arc was showing her descent from empathetic, human, loving woman to cold blooded killer and gangster. She is the only Black, female lead villain that I can think of, and I think that is why some folks are having problems…

To each their own. I enjoyed Mustafa Shakir, but his character didn’t really change much or evolve. They filled in his story, but the character itself was one note. I guess he changed in the end, but not really. He came in angry and out to kill Mariah and he left after like his 3rd time trying and failing.

“For Pete’s Sake” was probably the best episode of a Marvel show I’ve ever seen, and Alfre Woodard’s performance was the best acting I have seen in any of the Marvel shows throughout season 2. Jessica Jones had some great episodes during the Mr. Purple season, but I still believe that episode stands above the rest.

They had space and wide open threes. The players simply cannot shoot.

He was never proven innocent. She dropped the charges, and he paid her off in civil court. He both settled and acknowledged in the apology that it was not a false claims but a “misunderstanding”.
