Yes, I had a neighbor who was a registered sex offender and I found out from his sister that it was because he got caught having consensual sex in public, nothing else. Meanwhile the guy down the street had touched multiple children under his care. These are not the same!

So this guy was a rapist, was allowed to plead down his crime, and within two years after his release he had murdered at least four people.

Natalie Maines is the greatest. I would genuinely love to hang out with her. She seems super cool & fun, not to mention super talented. Anyone else share this opine, or is it just me?

I forgot what a big deal it was for the Chicks to slag W. back in the day, just how huge and hysterical the backlash was. Ironic, since this is the same crowd who currently lament how political correctness is ruining free speech and society.

There’s also the fact that it can be over-prescribed because there are people who would enjoy delivering that form of punishment.

The idea of rape as punishment is horrific. There is of course the physical and psychological trauma but it works to make women outsiders and casts them as “unclean,” not fit to be associated with. This woman is a hero.

I will sometimes bring up the facebook profiles of the kids who tormented me so I can laugh at their miserable tiny lives, and remember that this is just an extension of how miserable and tiny their lives were back then.

There needs to be a group for kids to voice their abuse.

And we might elect a president that condones and even uses bullying to get his way.
