Always now, the first thing we hear is the police feared for their lives. These well-armed, presumably well-trained, professionals who, again presumably, chose to go into their profession, are evidently scared out of their minds every second of their shifts.

My two year old runs to the terrace every morning and screams in his thick Queens accent, “Get atta hea!” at the pigeons as if it’s always the first time. Ah, toddlers. Ah, city kids.

I’m always so impressed by toddlers with luxurious heads of hair. My daughter is like a month younger than Charlotte and is on track to have a comparable amount of hair when she is approximately seven.
