I sent that one to a bunch of friends of mine when it was in the comments, all my guy friends were like “meh” and all my women friends were freaked the fuck out.

I spent the last several days reading all the posts, even the grays (I had to leave my browser open overnight so as not to lose my place). There were so many good ones, but the ones about creepy living people are the worst.
Whyyyyy do there have to be so many menacing/creepy stranger posts... those are so genuinely terrifying, especially as I believe ghosts exist, but am not particularly frightened by them.
That’s some good creepypasta.
I mean, you do you, but I can’t imagine bothering to make social plans with someone once or twice a year who I don’t even like that much. I don’t see my actual best friends more than that! I figure keeping up with people’s general lives is what Facebook is for.
yeahhh... you’re a sex addict and you only slept with one woman 4 years ago? and you forgot about it until now? ummm, sure. I agree with Jane’s advice here for other people (regret it, not going to do it again, blah blah) but I kind of don’t believe him on this one.
“Soon after my wife and I were married, 4 years ago, I had sex with a woman at a club in Panama where I had a work assignment for a month. I promptly forgot all about it until I started the Sex Addicts Anonymous program last year.”
I’ve quickly learned (from Captain Awkward: go there right now if you’ve never been, I have grown so much as a person and a “bitch) that having a “script” of responses takes a lot of the pressure off. Next time potential FIL says something racist, look him in the eye, let the silence become just a bit uncomfortable,…
The degree to which white people everywhere are unaware of the normalized racism all around us is one of the greatest obstacles to achieving meaningful and lasting progress. I grew up to liberal parents five miles from Stone Mountain, Ga., and I was basically an adult before it occurred to me how screwed up Stone…
Your comment reminds me of something Larry King said on his show the week after Columbine. He said (paraphrasing) ‘you expect something like this to happen in Harlem’. And with a very solemn tone in his voice, like he didn’t just say some of the most racist shit ever. White people like your boss STILL have the luxury…
Explain to me why you think mis-gendering a person is funny.
I’ll wait.
You should probably update to include that FEMA is now saying that they never gave the go-ahead for the contract, despite the contract specifically saying as much. That’s not too shady though.
Hey judge, just because you’d fuck the guy doesn’t mean that the victim wanted to.
Right? I’m like oh wow nice a robot I wonder how she will participate in human rights abuses
It amazes me to this day what the Saudis get away with because they’re our “allies”, including 9/11, Wahhabism (which they’ve helped spread worldwide) and modern day slavery. I mean, a lot of the workers in Saudi homes are basically slaves; their passports are taken away and they have no rights and are regulary…
That’s cute. There are nearly 9 million migrant workers in KSA who have worked in the country for decades doing the jobs that regular Saudis won’t do and endured some of the most horrible abuse you can imagine but please, grant citizenship to a f*cking robot.
she did have one unsettling conversation with her creator David Hanson at SXSW in 2016, in which he asked her “Do you want to destroy humans?... Please say ‘no.’” She replied, “OK. I will destroy humans.”
“...centering on the unique and under-told experiences of trans women and gay people of color.” That sound you hear is Mike Pence’s head exploding. Keep up the good work, Ryan.
