The pilot is cute, but not super compelling when you compare it against the rest of the series. I’d say it took me almost a dozen episodes to really get into SU and start caring about all the characters. The fact that each episode is only 11 minutes or so wound up being a boon in that case, tbh.

Even in fandoms with very active fanfiction communities, it was common practice to place a disclaimer on every chapter of your writing saying that you did not own the characters.

I have that happen to me on Jez and all the subdomains. My comments just don’t seem to appear. I’m assuming I was blocked by someone, but have never been able to get acknowledgment or confirmation of the issue from the on domain I’m out of the greys on.

No idea! It’s been going on for about a year now, but every single time I comment on the main Jezebel site, my comments get sucked into a black hole.
