Respectfully disagree. Having admittedly never seen him outside of Parks & Rec, I do like his infrequent appearances there. Just enough spazzing out to be bearable.
I'm convinced that Anne and Calico Jack are the uncontested best parts of Black Sails. Long may they snark, scowl and screw. (Although Max is pretty goddamn great as well.)
Well, we all know that they are ultimately one and the glorious same. Have you already seen The Stars (Are Out Tonight) video? Their dressing in drag as one another was fantastic.
On it!
Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Sinclair was sentenced Thursday, receiving no jail time.
I hope people don't protest his funeral, exactly, but rather have a really nice picnic nearby. For their own sake, just to show that there's plenty of happiness to go around.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you had a good, long time with your grandfather.
Have you read the food stylist's blog? She's pretty amazing.
He originally auditioned for the Hannibal role, and I guess Fuller was so impressed that he wanted him back. So many feelings!
Amen. I found myself startled by that moment where Hannibal threw himself against the door. Even in those moments where we see him being violent, he's usually so contained and put-together. The door bit, however, was like peeling away some of his gilding to see what actually lies beneath.
I believe David Tennant is on this season as a serial killer, and late last year Fuller was talking about trying to get David Bowie as Hannibal's uncle. If both of these things happen, I expect the fandom will explode from its combined joy.
My problems with tripe have always been a combination of the smell (THE SMELL, oh my goodness), and the texture. Honeycomb tripe in particular, which practically triggers my flight or fight mechanism.
Their entire cast bowls me over on a regular basis. They're all so brilliant and nuanced, and unf, the things Mads does with just the slightest change of expression.
One of my fangirl dreams is that Tom & Lorenzo start analyzing the costuming on Hannibal as they already do for Mad Men and their Mad Style features. For a show as visually rich as Hannibal, I'd be shocked if the costuming didn't have intentional layers and cues to be read.
You'll probably just be spending the whole time daydreaming about Hannibal's Dancy coming over to your house and playing "games" with you.
