And you're one for completely misunderstanding anything.

The Klan meeting is THAT way...

City population or MSA, it's arbitrary. There are other cities where the Hispanic population is going to be greater IN the city limits. Even TV is arbitrary. Really the only people who know the area being examined is MLS.

Yeah, they must have been holding back bringing a team there because it'd be more fun to struggle through the first two decades with teams that had shitty attendance.

Ugh. Your understanding of Census data is wrong.

You're looking at MSA, not city limit. The MSA is 17th (by my count) but when you look at actual metro region or TV market, will fall further because other metro areas include several top MSAs. (IE: Providence goes to Boston, Fort Worth goes to Dallas, etc.)

I used 3 year old data for the city, you used three year old data for the metro statistical area. Fine print, worth your time to read.

It only falters if you assume that Hispanic population is the sole indicator of a team's popularity. Which it isn't. And nobody says it is.

Yes.

I mention Brian McCann because we bickered last season about McCann's vigilante attacks on batters he, as self-appointed, rule keeper for all of MLB, didn't like.

Aren't you just saying the batter should play the game "the right way" when you deem pimping homers the wrong way? Where's that in the fucking rule book?

I feel like you're just trying to be a dick now.

Because you're trying to be difficult.

I'm not saying it's cool to show the pitcher up, I'm saying the pitcher should stop fucking worrying so much about whether someone has a bigger dick and play his fucking game. And so should the batter.

People should stop appointing themselves as the person in charge of enforcing made up dick-measuring rules.

So, that was more of a figure of speech than anything... Harper is phenomenally talented, and capable of exciting things and has shown an ability to do amazing things... If he's not considered a premiere player right now, if he's not considered a player who can do extraordinary things — it's not a lack of talent. It's

No, here's the code. Mind your own business and play the game.

What's a double standard?

So, there are many things wrong with your statement, but a big key one that underlies it all is that you seem to be able to reduce this entire scenario to a specific contest of manliness between Gomez and Cole. If the only thing happening in this game is who has a bigger dick, uh, I guess maybe you have a point? But
