WTF? I'm agreeing with the final two sentences. It's one thing to say "It's not a joke about Asians" and even intellectually understand that, and it's another to feel "good" about it.

That may well be true — that it's hard for asian-americans to rationally accept that it's not a joke about them.

While I think that, generally, if you can make rules that apply to both genders, it's ideal... boys and girls don't wear the same clothes. If you're being realistic, there will be different rules for each gender, and that's not a bad thing.
