I thought in the movie he admitted he was less scientist and more middle management assembling parts and inventions others had made. So his poor lab protocol could be attributed to that.

Not to mention the trailers were actually a huge part of the fake out. They were designed to build up that exact sense of "this is the archnemesis" and then totally undermined them beautifully. Mostly it was non comics fans whining because they couldn't predict the plot, boohoo.

Rhodes had been working in Afghanistan (hence the reason he wasn't in The Avengers) so I doubt any of that organization existed at that point. It was a name they took on and exploited for theater. I thought the whole "fortune cookie" story summed up exactly what was going on, in that it was all fabricated. I only

Having just put in a few hours, I can say there are modestly few Hulks and Wolverines, and a much higher quotient of Squirrel Girls.

His foreground terrain is flawless.

There've been some huge scifi dioramas.

I know the TZ episode you're talking about and that trope was established there. It's been done a bunch of times, including one of Batman's enemies.... trust me if ventriloquism creeps you out, this set the bar high.

My problem, along with the "quick let's replace a character integral to the show for the last 6 years with effectively the same character" was to make the Dax Trill stay on board, which was against the whole Trill philosophy of life. They purposely choose new hosts to gather experience and knowledge, so repeating as

That, or go-carts.

In the interview after the finale, Vince Gilligan said about the same thing... he wanted Jesse escaping and living out his life in Alaska free from all this.

Yeah I wasn't happy with how they killed Andrea, and having Walt tell Jesse that he let Jane die. The kid had enough on top of being made into a meth slave. He's definitely fucked up after all this shit.
