Those are vultures I think... and $20 says they weren't hanging out for no apparent reason, probably some carrion around somewhere. They have the wingspan of eagles but you can spot them if they're wing forms a "V" shape in the sky.

And thus deserving of a song.

I always assumed buzzards were vultures. I guess they're more like hawks, than osprey-like vultures.
