Tiny hands or jacked up teeth?
The problem with the VGA's is they're not awards for accomplishments in game design. They're popularity awards and nothing more.
@stranger77: In WoW you can go from 1 to 85 and *never* group with another person — and never feel like you have to. It's extremely casual/solo friendly.
@Xagest: There's a difference between something having medicinal uses and something being medicine. If something is in "medical" form then it can be measured and you are guaranteed that if you take X amount of the substance you will get Y amount of active medicinal ingredient.
@Satki: That's because it's not actually "medicinal." There's no medical MJ. No pharma company makes medical MJ. You can get medical HTC called marinol. It's a small pill (looks like a pearl) and disolves quickly. The effects occur within 1 to 2 minutes of taking one.
@_Franky_: No. MJ does not amplify your mood. It's a depressant which means it depresses your mood. If you're amped up on adrenaline and pissed off at the world, smoking a joint will mellow you out not increase your anger and adrenaline rush.
@_Franky_: Just tell your doc you have pain. There's no way to medically prove you suffer from chronic pain.
There will continue to be a market for solo/offline games. Those players exist. As long as there's a market, someone will create those types of games — and they'll be quite successful.
Ugh. Kotaku how I loathe your review formats... Let me count the ways.
@denki: Let me understand this correctly. You made a difficult game to play and you barely made any attempt to promote it. And yet you're advising someone who is successful to give up.
@xot: You think the guy should save his money? It's his money to do with as he pleases, not yours. Isn't that what freedom is all about?
@Cookiecat: Well you're full of optimism and encouragement. Your argument is akin to "the odds are too steep to succeed so why bother trying."
Well. While I really don't care, I prefer Austrian economics' concepts surrounding IP. In a nutshell it's bunk.
Lara Croft the University Years.
@hurricanedj: It was even worse with 40.
Ah amnesia. I wave my wand of plot detection...
@Damios: Skulls for Lord Santa!: You're capable of making that assertion based on a story read on Kotaku when ommissions, biases, and writing technique are involved?
@Llewyn: The judge can say you committed a crime. It's his/her court room after all. However, in order to serve for that crime it must be proven in a court of law. The fact that the judge said the guys on the prosecution committed crimes doesn't really mean much other than the ethics involved pissed off the judge and…
@D4RkNIKON: "Free" huh? Well, ever hear of that old adage: "You get what you pay for?"
