When her album dropped, she topped the charts in 100 countries within a week. She's pretty relevant anywhere with ears.
Funny how Time is suddenly no longer credible when it names a BW to the top of its list. Curious how that tends to happen...
You do realize I am sitting at my desk at work literally laughing out loud hysterically at that, which is what my post is referencing here?
I don't even know where to begin with this. If anything the show is a clear depiction of how the US military and intelligence sector is equally capable of extremism and terrorism as any other entity. Perhaps watch a few episodes before making wild accusations?
It's a thought that's crossed my mind. I'm pretty sure that I'm only going to like every other season of this show and this is going to be an off year. I couldn't watch the Asylum one at all.
Jill Abramson was fired because Dean Baquet is a whiny little bitch, straight up. A whiny little bitch with severe anger management issues, at that.
Jill, I'm a female VP and I just got fired for the first time, and yes sometimes the male politics and egos are bigger than you are and you just can't compete and God forbid you get into the middle of those politics. It doesn't mean it's less demoralizing. Your article has made me feel much better, thank you.
It's done all the time. Poor white sharecroppers in the south looked down at the blacks. Lighter-skinned people of color have looked down upon and politically oppressed darker-skinned people of color. To some, being oppressed isn't a sign for solidarity, but a call for revenge — and who easier to do it on than someone…
This is unsurprising. When some of the greatest power holders in the world support your cause, you tend to feel pretty fucking empowered to do and say whatever you want.
A little man slaps a big man in the face. The big man beats him to a bloody pulp with a crowbar, then beats up anyone standing near him, then complains to sympathetic bystanders about how much his face hurts now.
Weird, it's almost as though living in occupied territory and constantly suffering retaliatory overreaction strikes from your wealthy heavily militarized neighbor in reaction to a few assholes in your government shooting glorified fireworks at them will breed resentment somehow.
"As a Jew, and as someone who has been raised to always support Israel (which, according to my parents, is my spiritual home, although I have never been)"
No wonder most Americans automatically side with Israel, we're both wealthy nations filled with shamelessly self-absorbed assholes so far removed from any conflict we enter that it's incredibly easy to cheerlead for atrocities. I wish I could even be surprised that Violent Nationalism Selfies are a thing, but I can't.
The brainwashing machine in Israel is strong and effective.
What's really upsetting about this story is that it's happening at the same time as reproductive rights restrictions. So: Don't have an abortion, don't have access to birth control, but once you have that kid, child care? You're on your own.
hate speech isn't free speech.
Free speech doesn't cover the distribution of child pornography.
Sorry to burst your self-righteous hypocrisy-card-pulling, but obviously s/he believes that freedom of speech (in regard to it as a natural right and not a constitutional matter) doesn't extend to publicly shaming a rape victim. I'm pretty sure the part of the statement that reads "in general I believe in free…
Free Speech means the government cannot punish you for speaking your mind, except in very limited instances. Free Speech does not mean you won't suffer social consequences for what is said. Now show me where Robin said all these morons should be imprisoned.
