aquaticko is referring to the Niro EV. It’s bigger in all dimensions and more spacious than the Kona EV. Think of it as a big hatch/small wagon that’s a bit bigger than the current Bolt EV in interior space and probably the interior volume of the Bolt EUV (but the Niro still DCFC’s faster than any GM EV). He could

Man, if you threw this on a Chevy Volt or Tesla Model S/Y, then you’d have a house “Battery” and an (almost) proper camper to boot! Just figure out the wet bath situation and voila!

damn! I knew that the ELR had it but didn’t think as far back as 2014!

So they’re basically re-branding the (ACC) Adaptive Cruise Control ($750 option back then) from the 2017+ Chevy VOLT as “Super Cruise”, slapping a few inches on the Bolt EV to make the EUV and calling it a day?! SAD.

Erik,

So just to clarify: your Level 2 charger is actually running off of a DC-AC converter from the panels to convert AC power to DC again by the onboard charger on the Leaf via the EVSE on the wall, right? Still got losses. Only way to go DC-DC from the panels and to the Leaf is to somehow use your CHAdeMO connector

The Suzuki Carry version sold in the Subcontinent was a slow as shit carb’d 800cc inline-3, BUT, the snap oversteer-iness around corners was amusing as hell! Imagine being in second gear, the engine under your seat, with the revs up, making a left turn at an intersection while you lift off the throttle and then punch

Here’s the funniest thing about the Lund body kit. In Hindi/Urdu slang, “Lund” literally means “cock/dick” hahahahaha. Good to have 1/4 of the world laughing at that body kit’s name!

QUICK! Sell it to the TikTok crowd (playing that slowed down Rihanna song - Desperado) before they figure out what kind of understeering pig this is! No Dice!

Time for Bead-Lockers on this Mall Crawler!

I mean, that front end on the iX is too much. Even a blind person who can read braille could see it! Like, the i3 was a bit much but it went with the rest of the car’s ethos of how the i3 is supposed to be a futuristic compact city car and all. This iX? I just don’t get it. Its like the Lexus’ “Predator” front end

so if it “less than” ~11 hour to charge on a 11kW charger (must be a 3-phase 240V for Europe): with a 92% charger efficiency, that means, ~102 to 111 kWh usable power out of a maybe 110kWh to 120kWh pack?! Assuming 5% of the pack is blocked off from the top and the bottom of the SoC.

Can confirm about Hoston. 2 Accidents in 2 years, both times someone merged into ME! That I-10 to I-45 junction is a shit show and the surface streets are no better. The highways/loops are all nice and shiny but the surface streets are all shit and with the size of the potholes you’d need at least a F-150 to make it

this makes sense. Also, transmissions are rated by the Max. Torque they can take and turbo motors with bucket-loads of low end torque probably don’t help the equation!

This is true. But you’re not considering the millions of gallons of radioactive frac water that is coming out of the ground, daily, and was being dumped into the rivers via sending it through municipal water treatment plants, which is far far worse.

I guess the difference between it being defined as a sedan or not will just have to be called off as being within the “Margin of Error”

So its a non-Tesla electric car and that’s the only reason I’m looking to lease it since EV tech is moving so fast now. In 3 years, maybe even outright buying a new EV may not be the worst idea!

Thanks for the advice! I’ll see if I can get it zero down. And its a Electric car (not Tesla, god no), that’s why I’m looking to lease. Otherwise always BUY!

Damn EU Peasants!

Here’s a similar question, but related to leasing in general:
